its me Sage....
With the passing of this October holiday...I think its important for history to be told correctly...not saying anyone's version is more important---BUT, its time for the truth to be told. Especially in our school. some of our own Native children weren't even sure why they had this 2nd Monday off in October. Yeah, I know school kids are mostly happy just be out of school for the day...But, i think its important for this lands Indigenous history to be told correctly and appropriatly. I'm a proud Native woman. TAos Pueblo and Cheyenne River Lakota....Yeah, I'm a little late to be posting about this so-called holiday...but what a good place to start!!
Not sure where this tumblr is taking me....i love alot of things in this life...and love to share and learn from others..Chino Moreno and my love of the Deftones...brought me to TUMBLR....lol..funny huh?
