Hey everyone! Sorry it’s been 3 months since my last post but unfortunately I had to uproot my whole life. Due to the animation industry in the dumps, LA on literal fire, starting a new business, and a family member in the hospital, I had to take a break and move myself back home to help out my family and re think my life. Not sure if I’ll have time anytime soon to post again but just wanted to say it’s been fun here on tumblr and thank you all for your support and lovely comments on my work. Good luck to everyone in 2025, it’s been a pleasure :)

pause on commissions

Hello peeps! So it looks I'll be on hiatus for some time and I'll have to put a pause on the commissions I mentioned earlier. I apologize to the ones who messaged with interest. The cuties finally made contact!!! Kayde can't stand seeing someone in pain or uncomfortable and will pretty much do anything he can to alleviate the situation. And it looks like Bryn can't say no to a warm hand comforting her from the cold.

It's hard for her to admit, but with every interaction she has with Kayde, the more she seems to fall for him. But that's ridiculous, how can a fairy and a human even work?

It's late at night, post the gorgon strip club stuff!

Honestly I hope tumblr doesn't flag these or something. I just really want to share the concepts! Rest of the concepts is under the cut!

This is stuff from a scene in the Bleeding Magic AU where Jayce and Lucy go undercover for something at this club owned by a member of the Pie Maker's coven, a powerful crime syndicate of witches in NYC. Very risky ordeal.

Went with the last look for Jayce, but I still am undecided on Lucy's outfit for it since I'm gonna go for her being a bit more disguised and less looking like herself, as much as I liked these outfit designs on her.

Also want to share my inspiration on the club itself! These are actually from the premiere party for Clash of the Titans I guess, but they go really hard. Was wondering if it was plausible to have an ancient Greece kind of vibe for a strip club/brothel and there sure is!

Also also, the song I very much would love to use to open this scene with is "Beautiful is Boring" by UK Bones. First time I heard it all I could picture was a club full of monsters and other non-humans getting down and dirty, and it was around when I got into Spellbound and knew what I wanted to do with that inspiration haha

Yes I have some other characters in mind for sure. More humans, fairies and races the works. I'm mostly concentrating on Kayde and Bryn for now just so I can get their dynamic fleshed out more.

Your style is extremely nostalgic! gives me the vibe of a beloved cartoon/ 90's anime! Is it okay if you share the inspos for your artstyle?

Thank you so much! Funny you should say that cause my style is inspired by everything 90's since I grew up during that time (probably showing my age here lol). It's a combo of 90's anime, especially Trigun (1998), Zelda Ocarina of Time (1998), the Disney Renaissance especially Aladdin (1992), and Batman the animated series (1992). So 98 and 92 were very influential years for me specifically.

Random and possibly way off but is FernGully a favorite of yours? Something about your series with Kayde and Bryn is giving me that vibe and I'm super here for it.

Lol nope you're not way off at all! Ferngully was a huge inspo. I always wanted to see a story some what similar to that but explored a bit more. I've had these guys in my head for years and wanted to tell their story. It'll probably take years to bring to fruition if ever to be honest but I'm happy I can at least share some drawings and little comics here and there.

Sorry for the delay on this one, since starting a new job and currently developing a business with a friend of mine, my schedule has been hectic to say the least. But I finally found the time to finish part 5 so here we go!

We have Kayde cooking up a bomb ass meal for the evening, taking Bryn by surprise. She just thought he was a scary human warrior that kills for fun with a facade of someone who is nice so he can give her a false sense of security. But she now starts to realize that Kayde really doesn't mean any harm, otherwise he would've finished the job ages ago.

She lets her guard down a bit and thanks Kayde for everything he's done so far, especially saving her life. He can't believe the little fairy that was so scared of him before is finally opening up. He hopes he can take this chance to get to know her a little more and maybe start a new kind of friendship. Although he can come off a bit strong when he likes someone, making this new interaction a bit much for the little fairy.
