Sahara Group’s E-vehicles Venture Reshaping India’s Automotive Future With Local Technology
India’s focus on next-gen mobility is transforming the future of transportation. At this crucial juncture when nations are striving to free environment from the claws of carbon emissions, India is capable of playing a lead role in it by ensuring a greener and cleaner ecology by rapidly switching over to E-Vehicles.
Government and private players are jointly making the efforts to tackle the deteriorating climatic situations and reduce the import of crude oil for uplifting the economy and keeping a check on the pollution levels. By switching over to clean-green energy run EVs, India will get the permanent solution for a better and cleaner nation for its populace.
To achieve the goal of a green planet, a robust push in cleaner mobility is essential and only EVs can do this. By promoting the EV sector’s growth and enhancing its popularity with new guidelines, a substantial cut in fossil-fuel run vehicular mobility can be made possible. Additionally, it will also reduce India’s dependency upon foreign countries to import crude oil which will boost the economy and opportunity for the domestic players.
One such venture has gained immense popularity in the recent times. Sahara India Pariwar led by Saharasri Subrata Roy Sahara recently established a large manufacturing unit of its E-vehicles venture ‘Sahara Evols’ in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh which is seen as a good time for increasing employment opportunities in the region.
This Sahara Group’s subsidiary offers electric scooters, motorcycles, 3-wheelers and cargo vehicles which are preferred by the users due to their affordable prices and advanced features. In the initial phase, around 50 thousand electric scooters and 6 thousand 3-wheeler or E-auto rickshaw would be manufactured. As per the vision of Subrata Roy Sahara, only Indian technologies and parts would be used while assembling these vehicles which, in turn, will strengthen the initiative of ‘Self-Reliant’ India.
To keep a check on the use of petrol, diesel vehicles, it becomes important for the users to switch over to e-mobility for limiting the use of fossil fuel which will, ultimately, run out in future. Big Relief for Sahara Credit Co-Operative Society Delhi High Court Stays the Central Registrar’s Orders and proceedings
Tumblr media
New Delhi: Delhi High Court, granting relief to Sahara Credit Co-Operative Society and Saharayn Universal Multipurpose Society has not only stayed the restricting orders of the Central Registrar of Co-operative Societies against the two societies but has also stayed proceedings pending before the Central Registrar, till next date of hearing. The High Court has also issued notice to the Central Registrar in this case.
A divisional bench of the Chief Justice D.N. Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh has ordered while hearing the petition of the societies challenging the orders passed by Central Registrar dated 22.07.2020, 24.09.2020 and 19.11.2020 restraining the two societies from taking fresh deposits as well as from renewing the investment or deposits of the existing members.
Both the Co-operative Societies in their petition to Delhi High Court had submitted that being Multi-State Co-Operative Societies they are working in the interests of its members in line with its by-laws and rules and regulation as formulated under the Multi State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002 and rules made thereunder.
The societies submitted that the Orders passed by the Central Registrar has gravely prejudiced and hampered the business as well as hindered the functioning of the societies and harmed the interests of its Members, who are suffering the most in view of the said orders. The interest of the Societies members were paramount for its Board and the restraining orders by Central registrar are akin to “Civil Death”, for the company which is not in the overall interest of the members of the Society or the purpose of the MSCS Act, 2002.
After the hearing appeal High Court issued notice and stayed the operation of the Impugned Orders as well as stayed the proceedings pending before the Central Registrar till the next date of hearing.

Greatness always inspires others to be their best. Motivated from the books “Life Mantra” and “Think with Me” of philanthropist and true Nationalist Subrata Roy Sahara, lives are changing and heading the nation towards a positive direction. The blogs are influenced from the hard work, remote thinking and contribution of Subrata Sahara for welfare of the society and uplifting the marginalised. It encourages people to perform their duties towards the country and bridge the gaps in the existing system.

Let me quote what Saharasri says in the book, “When I talk about peace, let me say again, it is essential that we acquire sound education during the course of our life, not mere literacy. In schools, colleges, and universities, we become literate on various subjects, but do not get educated there in the true sense. Basic knowledge of life, education of life, is the most important thing for a peaceful, happy, and contented co-existence.”
