When i was 14 I was in a relationship with a 16 year old junior in high school and he said that I was just like him in age, but now I realize that I was a literal child. I wasn’t ready to be dating a 16 year old. Two years may not sound like a huge age gap, but it really made all the difference. He made me do things I didn’t want to do. He told me that I was old enough. He made me feel special. And that relationship led to me being in an even more harmful relationship which I’d rather not talk about. Age gaps are everything. Even if two characters are minors it doesn’t mean that the older can’t be manipulative of the younger because teenage years involve the most development. Don’t you dare tell me that age gaps mean nothing. They mean everything, and shipping a minor with an adult, or even two teenagers with a big age gap contributes to romanticization of these relationships. Don’t you dare tell me that age gaps are nothing.

in the past I've been guilty of making impulsive posts that affected people negatively but I took the criticism I got and learned to change. more people should do that

ppl act like being part of a minority automatically makes you incapable of being bigoted.

You can be lgbt and homophobic or transphobic.

You can be poc and still be racist.

You can be disabled and still be ableist.

Don't hesitate to call someone out on their bs even if they're part of a minority. I'm gay and disabled, and I'd rather be called out than be left alone about being problematic just because I'm in a minority.
