Chibiusa herselfalso recycles NT's original ideas of Usagi having pink hair and using a hand gun. So in a sense, the Chibiusa/Hotaru friendship recycles Usagi/Ami's friendship

SAILOR MOON 2013 WISHLIST: CYBORG HOTARU. Like, it makes me laugh when I think about Naoko talking about how she originally wanted Ami to be a cyborg (which makes her 300 IQ suddenly MAKE SO MUCH MORE SENSE) and she wanted to kill her off at the end of the first arc (which was originally going to be the whole series) and being mad that her editors wouldn’t let her do it, so instead she recycled that idea into Hotaru, which does make me smile, yes, but also, holy shit, this entire storyline was so good. Cyborg!Hotaru was so heartbreaking and kind of nightmare fuel because LOOK AT HER FUCKING ARM and it was so tragic that this was how she lived her life, except then she died and got to be reborn and, as much as I loved that she got her papa back in the anime, it was so much more powerful a story in the manga.

Average review/comment on fanfiction for the last 3 years:
"Your story was so good and original. The characters were so alive. Anyways I'm a digital artist and would love it if you gave me money to use AI to generate images of your story the exact way I am using AI to spam your stories and everyone else's with fake positive comments like this"

Just learned something fun. So, Sailor Moon was heavily inspired by the Tokusatsu staple, Super Sentai, which itself was adapted into Power Rangers.
In fact, in the very first ever entry in the Sailor Moon Universe, Which was actually Codename Sailor V Chapter 3 (not her origin story), Minako transforms into an outfit that she directly references as being in the style of Sentai/Power Rangers:

This influence obviously became more expansive when Minako's solo adventures became an outright team of colour coded heroes. The Sailor Moon anime was even more Sentai inspired as, due to having more filler episodes, it had a lot more of a monster-of-the-day format than the manga did.
It was therefore natural for Sailor Moon in 2003 to reboot itself via a live action tokusatsu series, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, often referred to as PGSM.
Apporpriately, PGSM aired 10 years after season 1 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which itself was adapted from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, which debuted in 1992, the same year as the Sailor Moon Anime.
This season was a landmark for the Sentai franchise for various reasons, not the least of which was it leaned much more into fantasy and magic. In a further similarity to Sailor Moon, the main villain of Zyuranger/Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 1 was an an evil witch (Bandora) releaased from a seal and taking up residence on the Moon. In Zyuranger's case, she even answered to a disembodied evil entity, much like Queen Beryl answered to Queen Metalia.
And the cherry on top?
Take a looke at Bandora's footsoldiers, the Golems, or as Power Ranger fans might know them, the Putty Patrollers:

Those with eagle eyes and good memories might have a certain sense of deja vu, and if you don't go eatch PGSM episode 37 and pay attention the hooded villains that the Sailor Senshi fight:

Turns out the masks for these guys were recycled from Zyuranger/Power Rangers.
Given that I not only love Sentai/Power Rangers, but my love of them led me to becoming a Sailor Moon fan this makes me rather happy.
P.S. The Red Ranger actor in Zyuranger also starred as Mamoru in several Sailor Moon Musicals.

The sceptre comprises a gold rod, formed in three sections, with enamelled collars at the intersections, surmounted by an enamelled heart-shaped structure, which holds a huge drop-shaped diamond, Cullinan I, or the Star of Africa, weighing 530.2 carats.
