I just had to draw something relating to Donnie having the power trip he has always craved and Mikey eating candy in the front seat. Can I draw cars? No. Inside and out, nope. Had to trace it and my dad told me I should outline it with lineless art and usually I’m good with that but screw drawing cars xd

I was taking doodle requests over on Instagram and decided to colour these two of them! 

The prompts were “Mikey getting a piggyback ride” and “Donnie taking care of Mikey,” and I decided to merge them into a mini-story :D

The last doodle was just for funsies, Mikey would probably be a grumpy patient because he wouldn’t enjoy the babying from his brothers or the forced bedrest lmao

Does your Leo have the same ego is ROTTMNT Leo or is he toned a bit more back on the chaos meter?

Also, do the boys still have their mystic powers?

He's definitely toned back more on the chaos meter compared to rottmnt Leo! I've based his personality more on 2k12 Leo.

He's the leader once again and takes his training incredibly seriously, thus he has better discipline and doesn't joke around as much during missions as rottmnt Leo.

Still, he has his fun. Unlike 2k12 Leo he isn't the oldest, and so even with the responsibilities of leadership he isn't quite as high-strung.

As for the mystic powers, I haven't decided yet! If I play around with abilities I'll probably make my own thing out of it instead of taking from rottmnt.

Raph is the oldest at 17, but Leo is still the leader despite that! (Which causes many complicated feelings for both of them, enter: self-worth issues and guilt respectively)

By the time the older boys were allowed to go up on the surface (14/15), Mikey was still too young (12) and hadn't completed his mandatory training, so he was left out a lot in the beginning. Although this only determined him to train more so that he could catch up and join in on the fun, and due to this, Mikey is on par with Leo in his abilities with ninjutsu and should never be underestimated.

are sailortmnt the same species as rottmnt?

Leo is a Red-eared slider and Raph is a Snapping turtle, just like in rottmnt, but I decided to switch it up with Mikey and Donnie because I felt like it!

So in this verse Don is a Mud turtle and Mikey is a Spotted turtle :D

I basically just mashed together my favourite aspects of the 2k12 and rottmnt designs, but I’m also tweaking their personalities, ages, and dynamics with each other a little!
