what they dont tell you about adulthood is that it鈥檚 startlingly easy to go long periods of time without having any fun at all not even a little bit. btw this causes ur brain to try to kill you with knives and hammers.
Wow just call me out then! Lmao no I know what I said but I stand by it.
I don't mind SimsIng it from time to time. I just didn't see it coming from Fallout of all games lol. I'm playing the Fallout Shelter mobile app game, too, and it's basically just managing your own Vault so I was already getting those kinds of mechanics on that end.
Started playing Fallout 4 for the first time (on PS5 with the next-gen update) and my only complaint so far is that some of the workshop mechanics are kinda stupid. Took me forever to figure out how to get out of the power armor and put it on the work station lol.
Oh, and there's too little carrying capacity and too much junk to collect!
It's unfair that I'm supposed to be out here trying to find my son and fight to survive in a nuclear wasteland, yet they also throw a Sims situation at me?? I'm building a whole-ass settlement?!!
A radiation storm blew in and I decided to turn in for the night lmao.
Because I just started playing Fallout 4, is it part of the new update that Codsworth actually calls you by name or was that always a thing? Because I'm so tempted to make a character with a keysmash name just to see what he says/does lmfao.
Its not a mod, its an item you can construct for your settlement. I can't remember exactly what section it is under, but it looks like a big computer terminal and you need power to run it. You can use it to assign settlers to jobs, and also to track your companions on the map, which is super helpful because I kept losing Dogmeat around Sanctuary every time I wanted to take him with me again and this finally let me track his location.
Heck yeah! Thanks so much. I probably should have built that first instead of a computer terminal which I then loaded Red Menace into with the thought that "Hey these people have had a rough time, let me give them an arcade game to play!" Lol.
Vaults are...a whole ass thing tbh, basically they're a bunch of privately owned bunkers (by a company called Vault-Tec) people could sign up for. There's more to it, but i haven't seen the show yet so idk what's a spoiler and what isn't.
My coworker and I watched a video at work last week breaking down all the known Vaults. Shit is CRAZY! Lol.
I know you meant it sarcastically, but honestly it is so fascinating when playing a Fallout game to read deeper into the environment and all the minutia there and see the absolute fucked up-ness of the whole place even before the nuclear apocalypse happened
I may jam to some of the music but in general the 50's vibes are always gonna be a bit rancid to me lmao. I'm definitely having fun, though. Of course, my least favorite creatures so far are the giant mosquitoes. And I've already faced a Deathclaw. Must be the East Texas in me lol.
For fallout, there is a mod for carrying weight on the PlayStation called spouses embrace, it adds the extra weight to your wedding ring and it puts it up an extra 500 if you didn鈥檛 want to play vanilla fallout
Awesome! I found a similar mod, I think. My only gripe with mods is it disables trophies/achievements. Apparently there's a mod that reactivates them but I can't find it lol.
