Making Bruce the kind of guy to work through his thoughts out loud when he knows hes allowed to. This leads to him rubberducking off of anyone who will let him, including, but not limited to his boys and assorted JL members. He latches on, and suddenly, this is not Bruce's Case, its Our case.

Despite him doing this to anyone that will listen, Clark tends to be the most available victim due to his extreme patience, his investigative skills, and love of listening to people ramble at him <3

That one time Lex Luthor managed to kidnap both Mary Jane & Lois so Spidey and Supes had to team up to save them. Then the four went to a double date arm in arm like they were off to meet the wizard.

reminder that your headcanon - based / removed from canon muses are so loved & treasured !! i see fellow writers expressing insecurity over the 'value' of their muses compared to strictly canon portrayals, but i can't express how beautiful it is to take a muse & truly make them yours. you can change them to your heart's content ( minus erasure, obv ) & make them truly unique — you might even change the way some people view that character ! sometimes it takes a lot of guts to veer from canon in the rpc, but there is a loud majority of people on here who love their fellow writers taking creative liberties. surround yourself with those who are enthusiastic & eager to explore your personal interpretation, & don't listen to any of the rude anons going around. write your characters how you feel they should be written !

Clark rolls as the high-pitched sound wakes him. Luckily, he isn't using a sound that is loud, only a sound he knows he can hear (not even dogs could perceive it). Within a few moments, Kent's zipping around and changing into his civilian wear. Wind whips around his form as he moves, trying to be cognizant of the sleeping form in the room. Bruce. Batman. His B. @gothamsaved cradled in sheets and looking peaceful.

He adores the man, and a beam of sunlight peeks through the window, highlighting Wayne's features with gold. Clark's heart catches before he adjusts the curtain, so the beloved Bat could finally be bathed back in darkness.

The Kryptonian kneels next to B's side of the bed, a soft smile dancing upon his lips. He moves his cape from where it lays on the bottom of one of the nightstands, and throws it across B's sleeping figure.

"Oh, babe," he breathes, kissing along his hairline - as he always starts first - and down those handsome features he's loved all those years ago, "I have to go to work."

Clark waits before he wakes to steal the man's breath with a gentle but deep kiss full of longing.

"Have a great day, okay? I love you, World's Finest detective."

Activity notice:

I start a fulltime job next week. Not that I had much activity, but I will be slower than slow.

remember that this is always a slow time for the rpc. as we get deeper into the holiday season, remember that people are finishing classes and taking big tests. they're slammed at work or taking on extra jobs to pay the bills. people are stressed about money or family, figuring out flights or trips, dreading the colder weather, struggling to put food on the table. some people are experiencing more dark outside than light, which might mess their schedule up a bit. some deal with seasonal depression during these months.

when your dash is slower and quieter this time of year, and when less people are liking your posts or sending memes, it doesn't mean the community is dying or we're all headed for the end times. i understand that less interactions or less support might be discouraging, especially when some of us are already dealing with the doom and gloom of darker, colder months and the stress of the holiday season... but please don't turn around and scold people for their inactivity or their lack of enthusiasm. don't get fatalistic about the fate of this community and declare it prematurely dead. this period of time always happens every year. now is not the time for unfair expectations. now is the time for kindness, generosity, understanding, encouragement, and love. now is the time for "take your time with replies," and "talk to me if you need anything. i'm here for you."
