SUPER WORRIED ABOUT VAX! Like i figured that whatever was done to him didn’t mean he was dead but it sounds like he’s just in a constant state of agony?!? My poor sweet boy. That whole vision sequence was so good!

CAN WE PLEASE SCRY ON CALEB AND BEAU?! I got so excited when Orym tried the stone and I thought maybe the next ask would be to scry on them but NOPE! There’s a small part of me that hopes they maybe got rescued by the Ashari like Kiki and maybe they’re in Zephrah but who knows!! Personally I’m not of the opinion that the MN reunion is gonna be them rescuing Beau and Caleb cause that would kinda suck for Liam and Marisha. After tonight’s episode my worry is that they may have to hunt down FUCKING IKYTHONG because magic imprisonments have failed!

Super curios what Ira is up to and whether it’s gonna help, hinder, or something in between.

I was a little worried about this episode after inner party conflict was mentioned in 4SD but i think this was the beat ending with that. Chetney was very right that they don’t all have to agree about the gods but what they do agree on is that Ludinus has to go

Cast reactions were on a whole new level tonight too!! Reactions to Imodna, the attack on Chet, the scrys and the vision all SUPERB! As much fun as the guests were I’m so happy to have the whole group back together again for this next leg IN FUCKING ZEPHRAH (yes I am just a teeny tiny bit excited for that lol)

I am SO EXCITED that we’re getting a Mighty Nein one shot around the solstice because I feel like with the connections BH have to Campaign 1 we’re gonna see what happens with Keyleth and HOPEFULLY VAX COMING OUT OF THIS ALIVE!!!

But the Hells only connection to MN is having met Beau and Caleb one time, and since sending magic isn’t working the stone Orym has won’t be much help! If Beau and Caleb are being held by Ludinus at the excavation site there is a chance that we see them get rescued, but if they also got bamfed away the Hells really have no reason to try and find them (even though im sure the cast is ITCHING just as much as we are). Also while Vox Machina is now connected to this because of their friends the MN have been in this fight with the assembly for over a decade so them getting their own focused episode makes SO MUCH SENSE especially with our beloved Wildmother boys.

On that note SURELY Taliesin plays Cad for this right?!? If there was ever a time to have two clerics THIS IS IT! AND ALSO THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL ESSEK IS NOT THERE TOO!! GIVE US OUR HOT BOI MATTHEW.

With how many main campaign episodes we have between now and Oct. 25th, it’ll be really interesting to see where we are in the story by the time this reunion happens!

I’m very excited for the possible BH reunion tonight…but also since the return to Marquet I am WAITING for more of the Nein to make an appearance because of Beau and Caleb most likely going radio silent after the solstice.

Like YOU CANNOT CONVINCE ME THAT THEY WON’T!!! My current predictions for who would show up are Yasha and Essik because I think they would definitely not be able to stand by with their partners missing and also they’re the ones with the most knowledge of what the mission was because of proximity.

REGARDLESS MATTHEW I NEED TO KNOW IF THEY ARE ALIVE PLEASE!!!

I’m seeing some people sad that Team Issylra didn’t follow more threads and be more single-minded about just putting their heads down and getting to their friends but here’s a few things about Team Wildemount that made their path make more sense:

1). They got thrown to a place familiar to at least one of them and then met up with a person familiar to them and ended up in a city that was “safer” at least than Team Issylra

2). They were just as determined to get back to their friends but were told that no one with the ability would be available for several days

3). Along with that information they were told that Ludinus, the person they are fighting, lived in Molaesmyr and figured that going there to get info while waiting for a ride was better than just sitting around.

Team Wildemount didn’t care more about threads they could follow because of a desire to adventure, they did it because they had nothing else to do in the meantime. For Team Issylra while going to the Hishari village would have been awesome from a viewer side because we could learn more about Ashton, they were never going to stray that far off the path when they already had a way to get back to their friends.

Wartime shapes your priorities and for both teams the #1 priority was always get back together ASAP

I see some of ya'll failing so horribly to understand C3 and it's driving me INSANE. This isn't about Gods Good/Predathos Bad, it is entirely not the intention of this narrative to say that the Gods are perfect, and while we can all agree whatever is locked up in the moon is most likely evil as fuck, it doesn't mean the Gods themselves and those who align with them haven't caused a shit ton of suffering.

It's not black and white, the story Matt has been weaving since episode one is a lot more complicated than that, and while seeing the characters grapple with making the right decisions amongst all the chaos can be taxing to some, it's incredibly realistic. Because at the end of the day, they are fighting for the world, they're fighting to save Exandria, and if that happens to mean they're also saving the Gods, then so be it, but that is not and has never been their goal.

Being upset at the characters or saying they are going Ruidus or that they're on the bad side now because they decided to help take down the temple that they know is literally oppressing a town into some weird catholization experiment is a terrible take. Because guess what?! Religion and the Gods in Exandria aren't perfect. They literally oppress and kill people.

Of course these characters are questioning whether or not they should be loyal to the Gods. Of course they're gonna try to grapple with what to do, literally over and over, as they're shown different facets of the relationship between mankind and the divine when the Gods lives literally lays in their hands. Because they aren't loyal to the Gods, they are honestly not even that knowledgeable about them, so we're watching them try to figure out what is right, what is moral, literally every step of the way. Like every goddamned adventure party does. But because their narrative is about so many important things, like religion, power, politics and quite literally what could be Calamity 2.0, people take every single thing they do as stance one way or another when it simply isn't.

They will always choose Exandria, the people, their friends, in the end, because that is the only unwavering truth about them. As Ashton puts it, they don't leave people the fuck behind. That doesn't mean the decisions they make or saving the world is going to be easy or simple at all.

I wish more people would trust the process and remind themselves that this is an 100+ episode series, it's not supposed to go at Netflix mini-series pace.

I had a realization this morning after watching the end of C3E52 that the 3 PCs with the closet (and maybe the more concerning after Imogen’s dream) connection to Ruidus are the ones that got sent so far away that they can’t see the red moon…Meanwhile our other half wherever they are are still close enough to at least still see the red beam.

I just wonder if it was maybe even more intentional than we currently realize who got sent where. Beyond the fun of like main pairs being split it seems like there could be a greater reason for sending the 2 Ruidus born and Chetney as far from Ruidus as possible…
