SARADA GOING ROUGE WITH BORUTO???

Been I while since I posted here but I wanna give my two cents with this whole Sarada going rouge with Boruto.

There. There’s my two cents. 🥰 But really, this scene means so much now!

It’s crazy how much foreshadowing was done in Boruto, blows my mind fr! It’s often argued Sarada doesn’t even have much of a role in the series anymore and this past week taught us that she’s definitely a big part of it. Right now, she’s the only one Momoshiki confirmed to not be affected by the Eida’s Fate Rewrite. And it was mentioned those who are immune to omnipotence suffer the most, as expected of a Sharingan wielder. Her involvement is consistent from the start as the one who noticed “Boruto’s eyes”. “Bluer than Lord Seventh”. I think this has a much deeper meaning. Not to mention she grew up watching Boruto, even as kids! And now, she is living proof of the Boruto Uzumaki who existed. She’s been there since day one, nearly literally too since their birthdays are 4 days apart. How crazy is that? The only living proof of Boruto’s whole life.

People also are arguing that she should stay in Konoha, she does want to become Hokage right? Yes and no. How can she stay when there’s a friend in need? She once said how can she try to be Hokage when she can’t even help a friend. I don’t think she can just stand by and let life happen when she’s aware that right in front of her is Kawaki who has stolen Borutos whole identity. She can act as a spy but I believe they have set up Sumire for that role mainly.

In terms of the romantic perspective, it would be nice to see a steady development if they were able to go rouge together. I don’t mind her staying in the village too, with Sasuke going with Boruto instead (if he’s immune)

Whether she stays or she goes, she will have Boruto in mind, the boy no one remembers… She will remember him when no one else does and that’s beautiful.

Chillax, my dudes! Although, it is pretty hard to watch considering anime canon just gave Borusara antis ammo to shoot our ship down ahhaha. 😅

And in the translations from the official translation on Crunchyroll, it says “He was like a brother to me”. 🥲

It was like an arrow to the heart. But at the same time, Sarada doesn’t have siblings so I guess she has no comparison to what romantic love and sibling love is. And she is young, only 12. She isn’t particularly keen on romance, like ChoCho. I don’t think she knows any better.

But I’m not totally tone deaf. 😅When something like this is written in the show/manga, it must mean that there is an intended information that the writers want the audience to understand. Maybe the writers did want us to think/know that Sarada and Boruto have a sibling bond. However, there is also an intended REACTION they want the fandom to experience.

They know the reaction the fandom would have when they added that particular line. Especially when the biggest ship in the fandom is Borusara. They are intentionally rocking the boat. Mind you, when I watched Shippuden years back, I was so sure Naruto and Sakura were going to end up together (coming from an unbiased perspective). If you remember Kushina said something along the lines of “Find a girl like me”. No doubt, Sakura resembles Kushina’s mannerisms and attitude more than Hinata. The Naruhina fandom then was also shaken and I’m sure they felt the same as we BSA fans are feeling rn. “Oh, I guess Naruto’s gonna end up with Sakura then.” What I’m trying to say is, sometimes the writers add something that intentionally mislead fans. Perhaps this is one of those times?

I wouldn’t say this ship is totally doomed. Far from it. Sarada’s reaction to Boruto “dying” this episode was absolutely heart wrenching. Experiencing something like that can change the perspective of a character. Maybe we will see Sarada start to look at Boruto in a different way after this episode.

In the future, I hope Sarada will be given siblings. This is something I’m really looking forward to in general as the Uchiha clan still needs restoring. And perhaps that could be a way for Sarada to experience what sibling love is. And if what she feels for Boruto is the same as that. Perhaps this is a chance for her to see the difference between romantic love and sibling love.

I will say though, (AOT SPOILERS HERE), I was made fun of and told I was delusional when I thought Eren and Mikasa from AOT had romantic feeling for each other. My friends said something along the lines of “why would you ship siblings?” They aren’t though. Mikasa was unofficially Eren’s adoptive sister. But just because you grow up with each other in this case, doesn’t naturally cement your relationship as siblings. But look how that turned out. Turns out they were in love with each other even though they would call each other “family”.

Another thing, if the writers actually want to go with the Sumire route. Please involve her more, start their development now. Because Boruto and Sarada are SOOOO much more developed as of now. And they will only continue to be! I will always be a BSA fan, but at least if they build up BSU nicely, I won’t have as much to complain about. Right now, Sarada’s character is invested and involved with Boruto’s character. Their paths are intertwined and they have so much room to grow. Let’s wait for the timeskip. Only then we can see clearer on how this will all turn out.

Remember, this is Anime Canon. It is still canon. We are waiting for the manga to catch up, so we can finally animate Manga Canon which can be argued as the “main structure” of the Boruto plot as a whole. Remember from the recent manga chapter when Mitsuki asked Sarada if she likes Boruto or not? And she replied something along the lines of “Why does it matter if I like him or not?”. Manga is mostly always animated. So I believe this particular scene will be. And after Mitsuki hearing Sarada say that Boruto is like a “brother” to her, it wouldn’t make sense for him to ask if she likes him in the future episode. 😌

We know that Mitsuki is more observant than most. He is able to see what other people can’t. Perhaps Mitsuki is onto something. 😏

That’s my little rant folks! Let’s not panic. Lets just enjoy the ride. The whole of it! The ups and the downs! Because I believe the end results will be worth it. 🥰

If there was ever a Dragon Ball x Naruto crossover, which character do you think the new Team 7 will interact most?

I think either Future Trunks or DBS Broly fit for Boruto in my personal opinion. Also I think Goku would make a great Sensei to Sakura Haruno/Uchiha (as stated in one of my posts).

Fun fact: Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto is a big Dragon Ball fan who took some inspiration of the characters traits for his own which you can see both Naruto and Goku have much in common.

I’m not really that familiar with Dragon Ball, but I’ve heard so many good things about it!! It’s so cool that Kishimoto is fan just like us though! I never really thought about it like that. 😅

This definitely makes me want to watch Dragon Ball tbh! 😊

Even if ever they go for the Sumire route later on, I will personally just see it as a massive missed opportunity.

This is considering what we could have had with Borusara’s bond, past, and the future they could have had.

It's not that I dislike borusumi but it's hard for me to ship them with borusara right there. Boruto and Sarada have such a strong connection. Like an actual solid friendship. No excessive rivalry like Naruto and Sasuke. No one-sided pining like Sakura and Sasuke and no weird flirting and physical violence like Naruto and Sakura. Boruto and Sarada bicker and fight but there's a strong understanding between them. I loved the real team 7 and there's no denying that they all cared for one another but the friendship between the new team 7 seems so effortless. I can see them actually hanging out and being friends and not just comrades who fight together. I really can't picture Boruto with any other girl when he already has such a strong relationship with Sarada. It would have been one thing if they both simply regarded each other as friends. But we've had more than enough hints at the fact that there may be something more there.

Since there’s a bit a parallel of Sasuke and Sakura through Boruto and Sarada, do you think shouldn’t kill her closest friend whom he is very supportive of her dream as Hokage? Because I do not think she would. 

I think right now, Sarada is preparing to take Boruto down, as per Sasuke’s advice (if ever the time arises).

We can say the writers are also preparing Sarada’s role to take down Boruto. Since we have seen Naruto declare that he will kill his own son to protect the village because he is the Hokage. And Sarada’s dream is to be Hokage.

I can see writers setting up something very emotional, Boruto is very supportive of her being Hokage and even supports the idea that the village must come first. Maybe we will even see a scene where Boruto begs Sarada to kill him. For this to be really impactful, writers should focus more on Borusara’s bond in the timeskip so it’s a high risk scenario. Oh my, I can’t wait for more Borusara angst. 😫

But in my opinion, she would not be able to go through with it and kill Boruto when the time comes. She can try to kill him, but I don’t think he will die by her hands.

However, personally, I don’t think Boruto will die in general. He will eventually ‘lose everything’, yes. But I think there’s a chance that he will still have a happy ending.

Needless to say, right now, Boruto and Sarada are very much involved in each other’s character plots. We are guaranteed to have many many many many manyyyyy Borusara moments in the future. I’m glad. 😌

The angst in Episode 225 is killing me, ugh! This is totally foreshadowing something! When it does happen, can she do it? Can she kill Boruto when he isn’t himself anymore? This can also be seen as a parallel to Sakura trying to kill Sasuke in Shippuden. Honestly, I’m glad Sarada is part of Boruto’s plot.😩
