After like two years of procrastinating and then extensive swearing, my very first biscornu is finally done. The last little bit of sewing the two sides together was a little tricky but overall it was a lot more fun than I was expecting. I still need to add a bead to the center and of COURSE I can’t find the beads I wanted to use buuuut I wanted to go ahead and let y’all know that the pattern is available here. I’m eventually gonna try this out with white thread on black fabric as well cause I think it’ll look just as neat.

i procrastinated doing my homework so hard I ended up getting my yarn stash somewhat organized

I finished my shawl… and the cat won’t get off it. It took 2 ½ cakes of Fiddlesticks yarn (about the same as Caron cakes but a little bit softer imho).

I wanted a good ruffle and kept increasing the number of stitches until I couldn’t fit any more on my needles (960 sts to be exact).

The pattern is Sarah Howard’s Super-Simple Scandinavian-Style Shawl and it is a free pattern on Ravelry
