will you be continuing your "clothes make the man" series by any chance?
i've never thought about costume design in video games before and your insight were super interesting to read about!
I will be continuing it, yes!
"When?" is unfortunately a question I can't answer just yet. I got on a Mafia kick at the end of last year as a kind of vacation from my other projects, but had to refocus my efforts on my obligations. I'm definitely not gone forever, though! The post about Sam is languishing in my drafts as we speak, lol.
If you want to nurture that newfound interest in costume design in video games, my co-writer @djangodurango runs a very similar blog (the inspiration for this one, actually) about the game We Happy Few and wrote a two part post about the costume design in that game which focuses heavily on the mod fashion of the 1960s. It's very well-researched and covers a ton of history and analysis. Hopefully it'll tide you over until I get back around to writing about my boys.
Thanks for the ask!

It's hilarious to me that Al Capone was an amazing tipper. I get why it took so long to catch him.

my friends and I have created a game we call Quipposting, where you play quiplash but you roll a wheel full of character archetypes, and whatever it lands on, you all answer as if you are like, a wizard or cowboy. This legitimately makes quiplash go from a fun enough game to an S+ tier absolute unabashed banger
