"Good night sweetheart"
Even though it was sad to leave Strawberry fields festival early due to bad weather no amount of trade, beer or music could feel as good as home does right now - black and white movie, tea and bed is in order right now but come tomorrow, after the longest sleep in the world I will be back on it ready for our penultimate festival, Beautiful Days, Exeter good night all, a good sleep deserved by all! I am more tired then a tired thing x

This sign looked amazing when finished, covered in jewels, adorned with flowers but ... the rain hit and being made of cardboard and only being painted with poster paint meant it got completely smooshed! It even accidentally died one girls hair pink when she walked under it and I did not have the heart to tell her so (free hair chalking, people pay good money for that!)

SGP 2014
Don't always believe in bad omens. We were delayed an hour on Wednesday morning because we were waiting for the postman. Turns out the post had been left on the door step 1 hour before anyone even realised. We got on the road, accident ... M25 closed! We arrived (4 hours late) ... We weren't on the list! We put the marquee up completely wrong, took it down and in doing so Toby dropped the whole thing on his head, collapsed to the ground, blacked out and covered everything in claret. May I add he is totally ok now but wasn't! I cried and wished we could just go home, enough was enough for one day but we got set up by sometime at silly o'clock in the morning and hit the hay. Slow start to this beautiful festival which has already been messed up by crazy festival revellers, it's only day 2. The creative talent that has gone into decorating and building the site is amazing it's just such a shame it is impossible to preserve. So far I have discovered a few magical things, one ... There is a magic porter loo, travel though a door in the back to a land on sunshine and nature - a field full on fully grown, luscious sunflowers. It's free for punters to roam around, make love and basically get back to nature by letting their inner hippies out. Another wonderful element to the festival which I have found so far is the badger run, a small clearing carved into the woodland that takes you down a hand crafted badge warren to a magnificent stage with a buzzing atmosphere, great music and beautiful people. This small stage is one of many here, each one individual in its appearance and atmos. It's the first time I have rocked up to a festival where I can honestly say there is far too much glitter, people are obsessed! Guys covered head to toe in silver glitter attempting to be the Tin Man from the wizard of OZ. It looks great in the sun but at night when your tired, cold, in a tent and then waking hung over wondering what the hell happened the night before it starts to seem like a bit of a Wally thing to do. Easy way to make a tiny bit of extra cash though, few pots of glitter bit of Vaseline and you'd think I'd opened up the first free sweet shop! Tonight, as it's Friday, we're closing up early and heading over the the healing field for a sitting down dinner and a bottle of prosecco, by that sentence you can tell we have had a good day! So like I was saying, never believe in bad omens. We had a list as long as our arm but, we're still here, still standing and loving life. I am very much looking forward to knocking off, stuffing my face silly with some tasty food and then rolling around on the slightly moist grass with a man who I think is just "boss!" (Toby of course)
