to expand briefly on my last post, the tumblr ban had nothing to do with tumblr "having a CP problem". that is such a remarkably ignorant take that it almost makes me laugh. but then i remember the instances AFTER the ban of users creating tags to link up and share their "images". honestly i don't know if that was ever fully dealt with. it's something that sort of haunts me. but to say that the ban was even postured that way is blatantly false, and it's even more ignorant to presume that the ban made that "issue" go away in any capacity.

there is rarely any action on any platform that works towards solving the issue of such material being distributed. the only thing that really works is the right person making the right decision at the right time, and telling the right people that have the power to put an end to it.

I don't know why I just got to thinking about this again, but Miami Morty is one of those weird characters that fandom really latched onto, to the point where I literally saw someone talking about how they felt Miami Morty and Miami Rick "probably have a better and more healthy relationship than most Ricks and Mortys" and other things like "Miami Rick treats Morty better" with NO SELF AWARENESS. Like legitimately antishippers and their obsession with Miami Morty and how they misconstrue what his character symbolizes makes me so fucking mad. They're pretty much the reason I stopped using my fandom blog, besides the state of the fandom in general, which of course was the fault of the feelings Yakuza anyways.

I mean there is an abundance of Miami Rickorty content, and that I understand and respect even if I'm not always in the mood for it. But the mainstream and often times very anti side of the fandom literally fucking like. Pretend he was an actual Morty in an actual episode. And blatantly ignore the obvious subtext of his design. Like his description in Pocket Mortys is literally like three sentences long how do you miss the point that badly. Even if you've only seen fanart. Even if you've only seen his design. It should be pretty fucking obvious what he is but r&m antis ignore it on purpose. I've even seen some fanart give him modest shorts and say shit like "I like his design but it makes me uncomfortable how sexualized he is" HAVE YOU THOUGHT YHAT MAYBE THAT'S THE POINT. I HATE YOU

Lowkey I think the codependency could either be a result of them being Gaster chunks (they want to be a whole person again, even though they don't even know it, which is where a lack of knowledge of their world's norms would come from too) or both of them being from Deltarune originally (they miss their home, and the other is the only one who understands that) or some combination of the two.

I thought more about Whitney leaving UB thing, and most likely he would have gone through the asylum.

Either right after he was released and taken to the hospital where Dr. Harper decided he needed special treatment, or if PC started bullying Whitney, causing him to have a breakdown and then be hospitalized (I prefer the second option).

Either way, being sent to the asylum won't end well for Whitney. Of course, he'll tell the doctor what he's been through and desperately ask for help. Harper will smile warmly at their patient.
