have you met FAE BASA yet? SHE has lived in saltlight for 1 MONTH & i believe they’re TWENTY-SIX. they are INTELLIGENT, WHIMSICAL, & PASSIONATE, but can also be CAPRICIOUS, DISTRUSTFUL, & QUICK-TEMPERED; they work REMOTELY as an ACTRESS. they look exactly like ZENDAYA COLEMAN & their label is THE CELEBRITY.

Fae Basa rose to fame at a young age, entering a career as an actress in her pre-adolescence. The younger sister of a well-known model by quite a few years, she began her career constantly striving to prove herself as talented in her own right as opposed to having gotten lucky as Isabella Basa's kid sister. Despite her natural gifts, she constantly felt overshadowed by her sister & the constant praise given to Isabella. It felt as if no amount of award winning performing nor bold activism could outshine the supermodel in the family. As she grew older, the chip on her shoulder weighed more heavily, & she began to wonder: perhaps her talent was only in her head & she really owed her success to her older sibling. Jealousy tore at her insides, & after over a decade in the spotlight, she engaged in extreme & erratic behavior, drinking excessively & taking whatever she could get her hands on. She spoke in an outrageous manner, simply because she wanted a reaction. Fae's work suffered when she threw tantrums on set, only fuelling the fire of rumors spreading about her. Depression overcame her & she felt profoundly alone in her experience. After a few years of downward spiraling, she desperately wanted to find someone who understood her. When that made things worse, she turned to looking for a place where she could escape & hide away until she sorted out the mess in her head. Saltlight Point, found by a random chance google search, was far away from Los Angeles & seemed an ideal place to hide. So, the twenty-six year old booked a flight before holing up in a small cottage by the water, keeping her head down & staring at her phone as it rang.

if i had to choose i'd say the celebrity, i think they'd bring a different dynamic to the usual townsfolk. plus you could go in so many different directions for their personality!

How active is this RP?

at the moment we're in a bit of a lull, but hoping for a few new members so we can start an event, the fall carnival!

we're a very relaxed group - we understand that real life has to come first. if you're looking for somewhere where you don't have to be online every day to keep up with the dash, then i think we're perfect!

are there any npcs (like owners of buildings, landlords, etc), and what can we know about them?

we have a couple! there's the mysterious european artist who owns the brilliant brushes art studio - she retired to saltlight and is very reclusive. maybe the artist is the only one who ever sees her? there's also ray, the owner of ray's garage. he's an older guy, close to retirement, with a soft spot for the underdog. he's always willing to give a job to someone down on their luck - like the runaway, perhaps?

midori francis, geraldine viswanathan, karen fukuhara, simone ashley, natasha liu bordizzo, jessica henwick, naomi scott, taylor russell, or katie findlay for the artist (or the musician)?

an awesome selection of fcs there! i think midori francis would be great as the musician, and natasha liu bordizzo would pull off an edgy artist. and i adore simone ashley, so i could see her in either role!

who are some faces that you'd like to see for the runaway? what about the dealer?

For the runaway, I could see Kat Graham, Michael Trevino, Jonathan Daviss, Maya Hawke, or Raymond Ablack.

For the dealer, perhaps David Castaneda, Carmela Zumbado, Rami Malek, Vanessa Morgan, Thomas Doherty, or Jacob Elordi.

I'm so torn between the dealer and the runaway! Who would you rather see?

That's such a hard question, because my first instinct is to say both, but that really doesn't help you much. I'd say the dealer, there's lots of drama to be had with that type of character.

Some of our open skeletons could really shake up this small town- the celebrity, bringing business to the businesses of Saltlight, as well as attention? Or perhaps the dealer, who navigates the carefully hidden undercurrent of crime in the Point?
