People who say that Hamilton invited Laurens to have a threesome with him and Eliza on their wedding night MAKE ME SO MAD. Like he DID NOT SAY THAT??? WHERE DID PEOPLE GET THAT BULLSHIT FROM IM CRYING

Hamilton writes:

And he ends the paragraph with "Adieu, be happy, and let friendship between us be more than a name"

"...to be witness to the final consummation."

This basically means that Hamilton is inviting Laurens to watch as he and Eliza seal their marriage with sexual intercourse. This was very common, especially amongst Christians. NO WHERE does Hamilton tell Laurens to join.

"...she loves you a l’americaine not a la françoise."

Hamilton is telling Laurens that Eliza loves Laurens in the american way, aka as a FRIEND and not lover.

"Adieu, be happy, and let friendship between us be more than a name"

Note the friendship. FRIENDship.

This letter has no mention of a threesome and by definition and literature means that he wants Laurens to witness the seal of the marriage, a normal thing.

Laurens and Hamilton definitely had something beyond a friendship before, but Hamilton's "romantic love" for Laurens visibly dies down once he marries Eliza.

And btw, to the people who go around saying Laurens did not attend the Hamliza wedding because Lams love blablabla, THAT IS BULLSHIT. Laurens was literally a POW (prisoner of war) and he couldn't attend because of that.

Hello, I am Mohammed Alanqer, married to Enas Majed, and we have four wonderful children.

We live in the midst of the ongoing hellish war in Gaza, trapped between walls of fear and despair. I, Mohammed, am a father of four children and a husband to a woman who was two months pregnant when the war began.

We struggle daily to survive in an environment filled with threats and dangers.

I lost our sole source of livelihood when my tech startup, which I built with dedication and hard work, was destroyed in the war. My children, Layan, Sarah, and Adam, have been deprived of education after their schools were destroyed, severely threatening their future. Amidst these harsh circumstances, my wife gave birth to our fourth child, Amir, in the midst of the war, adding to our state of despair and hopelessness.

My wife, Enas, lives in constant anxiety due to the destruction of hospitals in our area. I have lost my job and source of income, leaving me unable to provide for my family's needs and safety. Our home was destroyed by the war, forcing us to flee repeatedly and rendering us homeless.

We now face extreme difficulty in providing a safe place to live, clean clothes, and food for our children. Additionally, our children have contracted diseases like measles, and our son Adam has been diagnosed with viral hepatitis.

Our only hope now is to escape this ongoing nightmare and find a safe haven for our family. However, this requires exorbitant financial costs; the coordination fees for crossing the borders amount to $5000 per adult and $2500 per child, a sum I cannot afford alone.

We urgently appeal for your moral and financial assistance to cover the necessary costs for escaping to a safe environment, where we can build a better future for our children and ensure our family's safety.

My younger brother is Type 1 Diabetic.

When we go to a movie theater, we always get him diet soda. If he were to get regular when we asked for diet, we would not give him the insulin he would need for it. If that happens, his blood sugar level could go so high he could go into a coma, go blind, or even die.

If somebody gave him regular soda instead of diet without telling us, that person could be responsible for a nine-year-old being killed or blinded.

Just thinking about that makes me so angry. I get scared every time we take him to a movie in case the people working there saw this picture and decide to do the same thing.

On the Same Planet but in Different Worlds: Gazans are Humans Too!

Allow me to point out some of the blessings that people, unlike those in the strange scary world of Gaza, are inclined to take for granted and rarely do they reflect on:

Plenty of food, vegetables, and fruits.

Electricity 24/7.

Drinkable water 24/7.

No horrifying sounds of explosions, no head-splitting buzzing of Israeli drones in their sky, and no scary shaking of their houses because of the continuous bombardment.

No fear of ending up buried under the rubble of their cozy beautiful houses.

No scary thoughts about getting killed in an airstrike before drifting off at night.

Access to quality education for them and their children.

A plea from one family to another: kindly help me get my family to a safe place before I lose them forever. The situation in Gaza only moves from bad to worse. My family is stranded in the most hellish conditions ever, so I am dedicating to helping them evacuate to Egypt as soon as possible.

Join me in securing a dignified safe life for my family and a prosperous future for the children who have been deprived of education for a year.

Even worse, it seems they won't receive any education for another year at least as the ravaging cruel war continues and most Schools have been viciously and devilishly destroyed. Your support is a lifeline for my family and a chance for a better future for them. It is just too early for them to depart to heaven!
