The SamBucky Reverse Bang is a Sam Wilson/Bucky Barnes fanwork event, where artists submit artwork and writers create a 3K minimum story based on the work that they claim.

Some things to note:

This event is 18+ only.

No AI-generated fanworks are allowed.

This is a collaborative event: you must work with your partner artist/author.

Participants must be 18+.

All fanworks must have SamBucky as their main and endgame pairing. The story must focus on these two, but side pairings are allowed. Fanart should be related to the main ship. Threesomes including SamBucky ARE ALLOWED but Sam/Bucky MUST be part of the endgame ship.

Do not share portions of the fanwork in open communities/chats etc before claiming.

Participants are welcome to sign up as both artist and author but cannot claim their own work.

All fanworks need to be created specifically for the event.

Absolutely no AI-generated/assisted media is allowed.

Requirements for Authors:

All fics must be new and unpublished.

All fics must be at least 3,000 words (no maximum).

All fics must be beta read before publishing.

All fics must adhere to AO3 guidelines.

Requirements for Artists:

All creations must be new and unpublished

Any and all forms of art are welcome.

Photosets/moodboards or gifsets must have at least 6 images each.

Videos must be 1:30 or more in length

Mixes must have at least 8 songs and a cover.

Publishing fanworks:

To be included in the wrap up post, fanworks must be completed and fully posted by your post date.

Do I have to join Discord/Tumblr/other platform to participate?

Nope! As long as you have access to this Tumblr (because this is where all updates/information will be posted) and a valid email you can provide upon sign up, we do not require you to join any platform.

What pairings are allowed?

Any pairing can be included as long as Sam and Bucky are part of your main ship/end game ship. 

What content is allowed?

Any content is allowed as long as it is appropriately tagged for.  Authors, you must ensure that your artist partner is comfortable with the content you're including.

Can I use a work created for commission/auction/Patreon reward etc for this event?

No.

Can I tie my Big Bang work in with a bingo event?

Yes, as long as you are able to meet the requirements of both events AND your teammate is amenable to having their work tied to that event as well. 

How many works can I create?

We will allow up to three pieces per person for this event. Please be sure that you’re able to meet necessary deadlines before signing up to create more than one work! 

Can the story be a sequel to a story?

Not for this event.

What counts as art?

Art is pretty subjective, we’re happy to accept the usuals of: traditional art, manips, videos, comics and moodboards, mixtapes, and podfic. Just ask if what you’re planning isn’t listed.
