Spent the weekend with my family at the Maryland Seafood Festival and ate plenty of crab cakes and had a little too much beer. It’s always great spending time with your family, you never know when that last goodbye will be said.

“My homie Jake and I took a trip in late July up north through Philadelphia up to NYC. We stopped in Philly to skate and drink some beers at FDR and then camped for the night at Old Man’s Creek Campground in Wilmington, DE. The next day we finished our hike up to New York and made our way over to Manhattan to skate at the legendary Brooklyn Banks. The banks were all fenced and boarded up but we were able to climb through a hole in a fence and skate around. We also made our way over to Lower East Side skatepark a few blocks over before grabbing some pizza and heading back home to Baltimore.”

“The last time i was here at the legendary Brooklyn Banks, was in ‘08 or ‘09 for the final Back to the Banks competition. There were a thousand skaters all surrounding this spot watching the best of the best throw down. It was one of my most favorite skate trips. It was sad to see the banks in this condition, all fenced and boarded up. We were able to climb through a hole in the fence and skate so it the trip was still well worth it.”
