Decided to paint a #pleinairpainting study. ☕️ I’m really liking the colors and shapes I come up with when I do my studies, but I can’t find a way to translate them into my personal paintings yet. I would start to like coffee at the point in my life when I’m trying to cut caffeine 🦩 So when I have it I’m trying to make the drinks super worth it. #artvartist2022 It’s so cool getting to do these each year, and have a ton to look back on to see what I was into doodling. I think I draw much more simpler now, and with less time and struggle compared to 2019 haha. Much more appreciation for simpler moments and crazier trips; Exploring digital painting styles out of my comfort zone. 🍣🎂 One of our favorite sushi places @domodomojc haha. My boyfriend and I share a birthday in November (he’s about 14 hours older I think 😒) and this was our second time celebrating it as a couple back in the fall. We couldn’t go out our first birthday together because of Covid, so it felt great finally being able to eat out this year. It was our first time having a multiple course meal and that felt really special. @kumachris & @matkobe also surprised us having a date in the opposite corner of the restaurant, and their thoughtful birthday gifts made our night 😭 Thank you again!! I used to think it’d be a chore, but now it’s really relaxing to trim flowers and put them in a vase. Whether they’re from someone or if I bought them for myself it always brightens my room 😌 Small happy things. 🐠🦑 Back in November on our aquarium birthday date. I remember this being the first exhibit that was empty so we just sat and enjoyed it for a while. Took a break from plenairs yesterday and tried to apply those brushes and shapes into another painting.
