Howdy Doodily!

I thought a little update would be handy, to let you all know what’s going on in the world of SAM. Over the last year, I’ve been spending an evening a week, or so, working with a sound engineer on creating an album. Due to my role as a student, and his full time job, the process has been slow, but it’s going really well. We’ve just finished laying down the heart of all of the tracks, and are now working on layering on more instruments. I am very excited, indeed, about all that is to come! On another note, I will be performing at the Kingswood Pub in Richmond, British Columbia on the 3rd of June, 2016. All are welcome! Come and enjoy a beer and some conversation, while I serenade you from 7:00 - 9:30 PM.

*I realised, recently, that my interface and microphones don’t require external power, they’re simply powered by my computer. Which MEANS, I can haul all my equipment with me wherever I go and record in all sorts of unlikely places! Which I think will make for fun sounds and fun videos and fun experiences.

Today, after writing an exam, I went thrift shopping and got some lamps to help with some makeshift lighting for recording. Then I made use of them and did some recording! Here are a few blurry photos of this experience.
