Air Fryer Donuts
4-ingredients - these are the BEST!! ❤️
Ingredients:
1 can Jumbo Flaky Biscuits like Pillsbury Grands
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
5 Tbsp butter melted
.
Instructions:
Preheat air fryer to 360 degrees. To do this, simply turn your air fryer on at 330 degrees and let it run for about 3-5 minutes.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cinnamon and sugar. Set aside.
Open the can of flaky biscuits and cut the center out of each one using a 1-inch round cutter. Lightly coat air fryer basket with coconut oil spray (you can also use olive oil spray). Do not use non-stick spray like Pam (those sprays could be harmful to your air fryer).
Place the donuts (not holes), in your air fryer. Bake for 5 minutes at 360 degrees. As the doughnuts are cooking, melt the butter.
Using a silicone pastry brush, coat the baked doughnuts with your melted butter. Then cover the donuts with the cinnamon sugar mixture by dipping and rolling around. Use a spoon to coat the top as well. Gently shake off excess cinnamon sugar. Serve doughnuts hot.
Donut Holes
When you air fry the “holes”, set your timer for 3 minutes and repeat the process of dipping in butter and then adding the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
( you can use 2 tbsp buttermilk instead of milk+yogurt, or probably all milk, it's such a small amount)
Mash banana, set aside (I didn't want to dirty another container so I just mashed it against the side of the bowl). Mix flour, baking powder and sugar so they're uniform. Make a well, add the egg, break the yolk with a fork, add oil and milk and yogurt, give it a good stir, add banana (or scrape it from the side) and mix well without overmixing. I used three tall tins with tulip paper cases but you can make six smaller ones depending on your fryer.
Preheat the air fryer to 150°C for a few minutes, bake for about 20 minutes (depending on machine and how large you made them you might need to adjust)
