If you don't mind me asking, do you remember your "not-so-preferred" (least favorite) ships from both the MLP & EQG franchises?

Well, even to this day I'm not the biggest fan of TwiDash. I mean I've softened up on it, but the show REALLY does nothing to convince me those two would be anything other than be a walking, fighting disaster together lol

Um, I was never too fond of PinkieTwi either, mostly because what would usually happen is people would pair FlutterDash and RariJack, and then be like "Well it doesn't make sense not to have THESE two together" and then just have them like each other with no chemistry what-so-ever, just literally together to be together and I was never fond of that.

Wasn't fond of AppleDash in the end, especially with how they went from friendly competitive to like... Actually harmful competitive by the end of the show. Maybe Season 1 or 2 AppleDash, but not Season 8 AppleDash, no thanks.

FlutterCord is... fine. Not my preferred ship, I kind of prefer them as friends over being lovers, but I definitely used to hate it more than I do now.

SugarMac gave us no reason to care about them as a couple. Literally all of their episodes are about them having fights or doubts about being a couple together, including the episode they got together. Like come on guys, you've written decent relationships, why can't you get these two to enjoy each other?

Oh and Mud Briar, def still hate Mud Briar. He is a terrible pony, extremely poorly written, terrible representation, and an awful character to be attached to Maud, a beloved fan favorite. He's not even that far off from being made into a character that COULD be good for Maud, they just chose the most annoying and irritating version of that character for Maud. She definitely deserved better.

That... About covers all of the ones I can remember for now. Maybe there were other ships I hated but it's been a while so those are the ones I really remember for now.

Always a bit of a blast from the past to remember all my old opinions like this lol

Hey thanks for answering my question about mother scootaloo. Though, when I last saw the comic, in the alternate reality where her mom didn't die, there apeared to be no indication of the first part of the story happening. Did Momma scoot( sorry I forgot her name) talk Sandy out of her idea. Furthermore, why didn't Sandy let Scoots have an abortion. And since she was a year away from being an adult, why not wait a year to let Scoots decide if she wanted to keep the kid?

I just didn't really feel like talking about abortion at the time, even though it would be a legit and safe option for Scoots. I get the feeling they maybe talked about it and decided to let her have the kid. (Plus there wouldn't be much of a story if they had gone that route)

100% honesty here, I started Motherly Scootaloo on a complete random whim back then and didn't think too hard about it at first. It wasn't until after she'd already had the kid that I started taking the plot and characters far more seriously, and you can tell the story ramps up a little around the hospital/birth arc.

As for the alternate timeline, yeah Firefly was probably like "Yeah well she made a mistake but we can still raise the kid. After all like Mother, like Daughter, am I right?" cause Firefly ended up in a very similar situation to scoots, though she was an adult at the time.

Few questions:

Why in motherly scootaloo did you have scootaloo forgive sandy so easily? While she didn't lose her kid, I'd be FURIOUS at sandy for even trying to do that and then trying to adopt me if I were scoots.

What happened to the ask aria blog? Tried finding it but I couldn't see it.

Heard you tried your hand at an original project involving a princess from another world. How did that go for you? Do you still do original stuff?

Question 1: Uh, that was really early into the story when Sandy was going to put the baby up for adoption, and it was because Scootaloo was a teen? Teenagers 19/20 times aren't mature enough to be parents and even if they are they usually need an existing parent to raise it. Sandy was doing the responsible thing and Scootaloo was kind of sad about it but ultimately in the end she kept the baby so uh… Not really much to stay mad about. Just cause you'd be furious doesn't mean everyone would be. Question 2: I just got tired of making it. I love Aria still, I love the Dazzlings, and Equestria Girls is still my all time favorite show, but the show ended and I was ready to move on to other things. At that point I'd been creating comics for literally 7-8 years in a row and while it was fun, the returns were fairly minimal for the amount of effort put in. I don't regret it, I still love those stories, but I needed something more financially stable and creatively fulfilling, hence why we made Repurpose and are still working on making more projects going forward.

Question 3: Did I have my hand in making "Fate of the Lost Princess"?? I was the ONLY one working on it roflmao. From writing to art to distribution, that was all me baybeeeeee. I was on a roll with it but then I hit a huge art block and I just never got back into it and kind of ended up re-evaluating everything about my artistic process and what I wanted to do going forward. Yes I do still do original stuff, again look at Repurpose or Haven University, and one day I want to go back to Tina's story, but it'll likely be in a different appearance than it was when I started it.

Who win twilight vs rainbow dash vs pinkie pie vs fluttershy vs applejack vs rarity

Like, in a popularity contest or in a Death Battle style combat?

Cause if its Popularity I'm pretty sure its Fluttershy. If it's a 'Death Battle' style combat my money would be on Twilight, given the whole Element of Magic and Alicorn thing. Runner up would probably be Rainbow Dash or Pinkie Pie.

If you were to be given the opportunity to help on a revival team for EqG (like there is for MLP G5) including the grad special & to give the EqG a conclusive ending, would you take it?

Honestly? Yeah, I would. I'd be kind of a fool to not take that opportunity, wouldn't I? Sure, it probably wouldn't happen but its fun to think hypothetically about a revival of EQG since it is my favorite show

Granted my main issue with something like that is that there tends to be a lot of corporate oversight, so I likely couldn't do everything I wanted to do, but at the very least I do know what my pitch would be because I once considered writing a fic like this.

So I hate what MLP did with Grogar, him not being real and just being Discord in disguise? So where is the real Grogar? My idea: He was banished the same way the Dazzlings were

While out searching for magical artifacts from Equestria the Dazzlings stumble upon an antiques shop and are looking around it. Adagio goes in the back and sees Grogar preparing a cauldron with a brew he intends to use to rule the world and then conquer Equestria with.

Unable to handle him on their own, Adagio rushes the girls out and races towards Canterlot High to get help. Meanwhile the girls are all excited about graduation and what's going to happen afterwards, except for Sunset. SciTwi wants to get her engineering degree, Pinkie wants to go to culinary school, Dash is getting a sports scholarship, Applejack plans to work for her family's business before deciding on what to do, Rarity wants to study abroad for the world's Fashion, Fluttershy plans on Vet school, that sort of thing

Sunset, meanwhile, isn't sure what she wants to do. She could stay here in the human world or she could go back to Equestria now that she's made amends. Magic in the human world has been quiet for a little while and honestly she could learn a lot in Equestria but she'd miss her friends.

From there the plot would involve teaming up with Dazzlings to stop Grogar, perhaps Grogar builds like, a mind controlled army of humans with his brew or something like that, could get very Zombie-Apocalypse feeling but kid-friendly, and it'd culminate in a showdown against a full-powered Grogar about to conquer the world when all of the girls go full-power from the power of friendship with everyone from the school and everyone they met throughout their adventures, basically all the girls getting a Daydream Shimmer form and using their power to stop Grogar, possibly turn him to stone since that tends to be the solution in MLP.

The world is saved, the girls graduate, and Sunset decides that the human world and her friends need her. She's going to start learning to teach and plans to not only be a teacher, but teach magic to the people of this world and help them learn to control it safely and use it ethically.

At the very least, that'd be my pitch for the series finale.

As for a G5 or G6 revival version of EQG... I dunno what the core plot would be, but it'd probably be on the same level as normal EQG just with different characters lol, maybe Sunset being their mentor like how I imagine the finale going.

I don’t think you’ve ever said what ARE your preferred ships in both Equestria Girls and My Little Pony canon?

I feel like over the years I most certainly have, but they are probably scattered across not just this blog but other blogs so I don't blame you for not knowing them lol

On top of that I've lightened up a lot about shipping compared to my early fandom days. Like I'm still not a big fan of TwiDash, but I'm not going to roll my eyes and froth at the mouth about how 'bad' the pair is like I used to lmao

But I suppose I can list my preferred ships here:

FlutterDash (EQG + MLP) - #1 in all universes always, for all time

RariJack (EQG only) - They literally made an entire EQG special about this ship lol

PriSet (EQG) - Rainbow Rocks is my all time favorite movie and it made me adore the Sunset and Princess Twilight dynamic. I wish PriTwi hadn't been banned from EQG in the later stuff, it's such a shame.

StarTrix (MLP Only) - Despite my utter loathsome hatred of what Starlight did to FiM and her utter inability to face consequences for her actions, her banter with Trixie was top-tier content, literally so good that it made me forget about how much I hate her when the two are on screen together. It reminds me a lot of my own ship writing, just minus the negative toxicity when the two are by themselves.

PinkieCheese (MLP) - This one is canon anyway but they really were perfect for each other. Kind of wish there had been an EQG version of Weird Al for Pinkie lol

TimberTwi (EQG) - Listen. I thought Timber was great in his first appearance, I think the fandom gives him way too much hate over feeling like the ship is 'forced' upon them. Twilight deserves a chance to date and get to know romance, and if they did break up that would be on the crew to decide. But they actually have a mini-episode of the two of them on a date and its really cute together and I wished I had got to see the two of them together more and I wish the remaining fandom explored their relationship in healthier and nicer ways than just assuming Timber is a douchebag asshole who doesn't deserve Twilight, like you guys clearly don't understand his character at all!!

SciSet (EQG) - Okay I KNOW I just said I like Timber, but SciSet is a different flavor of PriSet and while I prefer PriSet, SciSet is a good ship too. I could 100% believe them wanting to do this for EQG if it went that route, especially after banning PriTwi from the show, so who knows. Lord knows this ship gets explored in fanon all the time.

FlashSet (EQG) - FLASH AND SUNSET DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE!!!! They're literally such good friends by the end of the show and LITERALLY the only reason they broke up was because Sunset was in her villain arc! BUT SHE'S NOT A VILLAIN ANYMORE!! She's changed literally SO MUCH that they would work out and be great for each other! GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE YOU COWARDS!!!!

TimberFlashSciSet Poly - Okay you know how you best solve the above discrepancies? Polyamory. The four of them should just form a poly and everyone will be happy! Problem solved!

TwiSay (MLP) - Okay, hear me out. Two adults who love education and want it to be the best it can possibly be for everyone? Sounds perfect to me. Plus Neighsay gets 'redeemed' and what not and I genuinely think the two of them would be able to have long, drawn out conversations over the night about books and education and the betterment of Equestria and... Yeah there's probably a little bit of age gap but like, Princess Twilight is immortal who cares at that point! Probably my most 'crack' ship but I still really enjoy it.

Uhhhh, I think those are all the major ones... I guess I can rapid fire other small ones I don't mind seeing

Any of the Dazzlings x Sunset, Wallflower x Trixie, Apple Bloom x Sweetie Belle, Rarity x Fancy Pants, Scootaloo x Rumble, Rainbow Dash x Soarin or Spitfire, Derpy x Bulk Biceps...

Beyond that I'm kind of struggling for ships I really care about lmao. It's been a while since I really sat down and thought about it or cared, despite how much I still love Equestria Girls and hopes it gets brought back in some capacity.

But yeah, I suppose that's my comprehensive list for ya.

I've seen this before! And its really awesome art and I love the inclusivity, especially since it was made one of the show runners!

However I'm still hesitant to go "100% cannon!!!!" since it didn't appear in the show ITSELF and people are still allowed to ship and let ship as they please if for any reason they would prefer a different pair over the ones depicted

Hi! I just wanted to say I really enjoyed Motherly Scootallo when it was running. I was obsessed with it when I was 10-11! Your art has improved so much, too. It's nice to see you're still drawing!

Still crazy to me I had fans that young, because to be 100% honest that story was not made for kids that young, no offence lmao

But I'm glad you still enjoyed it and enjoyed it enough to find me again after all these years! Yeah I'm still creating and creating a lot, making games like Repurpose and Haven University and other upcoming projects!

They're all intended for at least young adults, which you probably are now, but if you liked Motherly I'm sure you'll like my other works as well!

Will Haven University remain a “friendship simulator” or the player will be able to romantic the characters later down the line?

For THIS iteration of the game yes, it will remain a friendship simulator. Essentially the plan is for this game to be a free, short experience of getting to know these characters and the general environment they're from, and for that to lead into a bigger project later down the line.

You can sort of think of it as a prologue to a bigger project I want to do some day, and in THAT bigger project not only would these characters be romanceable, but many more would be as well!

I'm mostly just trying to make sure I can release smaller projects on a more consistent basis before trying to put all of my eggs into one big basket lol

This is one of my main concerns with Haven University too. It's tough wanting to make games intended for 17+ audiences so you can deal with adult topics and not have to worry about traumatizing children but then they get access to it anyway

R-rated movies, M-rated games, things intended for adults but children watch anyway. And calling it 18+ makes it sound pornographic when its not, so it just feels like a catch 22.

At the very least we can try to keep our fandom spaces as child-free as possible. So do always remember that were aren't anti-child because we hate kids, but for the safety of both them and us. It's just a sad reality of the world.

How do you feel about 13 year olds playing Repurpose?

I'd prefer if they didn't or if they did they keep it to themselves and interact with the fanbase in a safe manner. The game isn't pornographic by any means but my intended audience for it has always been 17 and up.

Teens will be teens, I played GTA games when i was 13, and since it is common for kids these days to have access to debit or gift cards there isnt much i can do to prevent it being played by them. I just ask they keep themselves safe.
