I'm a jedi girl first and foremost but I can't lie good Mando stuff always has me going *Greef Karga voice* MANDOOOOOO!!!
#just like whenever it hits carl weathers is there#blah#anyways just finished Mandalorian so im feeling that atm#catching up on star wars need input on where to go next!! i havent finished well basically a lot of stuff#ive seen all of ahsoka except the last ep but not sure if i should watch that (or just rewatch the whole thing at this point next) bc#i think ill swing around and maybe do s4 rebels THEN ahsoka. whether the whole thing or just the last 2 or 3 eps is to be determined to stay#in that general era. books wise im in phase ii thr but thats unrelated#biggest must for me is popping back around to watch tcw s7 because i never saw it on release. havent seen that show other than maybe s1#since i was like 10 though so i feel itd be better with a full rewatch first? i may do that a bit down the road then when im back in school#bc i can invite my friends over to watch the big arcs w me perchance

Okay finished Mandalorian. Agree with the assessment that s3 is the weakest season but I think it suffers less bc it just involves more Mandalorians and less Din or whatever people say and more bc it fails to walk the middle path of being "the Mandalorian" or our s1-s2 story of Din & Nevarro & the Child and "the Mandalorians" (mind the 's') the uniting the factions, Bo-Katan reclaiming Mandalore stuff we get a dose of in s2 and is set up to be a big thing in s3.
#like i think it could do the reclaiming mandalore plot and have it be better but it would have to commit and go into it more than it does#also like the mandalorian “short fuses and long memories” stuff like we see the short fuse but where is the long memories#like i wish we saw more tcw era mando references just mentioned in fights and to feel theres this big gulf and tension instead of it being#like “we think youre weird bc you dont talk ur helmets off and act superior abt it” or just like idk connecting the dots on that conflict so#it makes better sense#also a mando specific show and it takes until s3 to mention death watch... like i get it and the splinter thing makes sense#bc its a might means right movement who got stomped by more might but idk#show abt the grudges and violence people that doesnt go into the grudges in the season abt bringing ppl together despite the grudges#also i think they should have committed to grogu leaving. thats my take. let leaving have consequence for a bit#they built up to that let it stew for a bit. commit this season to being reclaiming mandalore with din as a central viewpoint. show his#struggles to be 'redeemed' and then reluctance to lead. have him go off and do bounties for a while ditching the darksaber as bo katan tries#to rally coverts and mercenary companies and clans but keeps getting challenged on the darksaber bit#have her track down din in the middle of the crisis his storyline has been going to and have her bring the darksaber to him with a challenge#they can actually. fight later or do the rescue thing idc. like idk#THEN you can go and do the din & grogu reunion in the movie or something and have that be the central thing and have his adoption be a big#climactic moment#also think mando s3 should have incorporated more mando worldbuilding and history and even some legends stuff#like theyve got pellaeon or however u spell it show up talking abt how theyre gonna do heir to the empire in the ahsoka show like pick and#choose some legends mando stuff to throw in too#blah
