“No, no I’m fine!” she assured with an embarrassed laugh, cheeks pinkening as she fell back into step with him. Luckily, it wasn’t a lie. She’d rolled her ankle tripping enough times to know when she’d done any real damage and thankfully, her ankle was barely throbbing as she walked.
It would have been just her luck to sprain something in the middle of trying to shoot a video, though. It certainly wouldn’t have been the first time.
“I’m sorry, I ramble when I’m nervous. And when I’m not, actually.” She tilted her head in consideration before physically shaking the moment off. “Of course you can work the camera. Some people get intimidated because it’s a professional one but the settings are all already pre-set for the recording.”
Realizing she’s rambling again, she shoots him a sheepish grin. “Sorry, I’m doing it again aren’t I?”

rkdonghyun:
“hm?” he paused for a moment at the question, glancing down at the textbook he had abandoned just a moment ago. “you could say that,” he responded, going a little red in the face as he cleared his throat. “not that it was going very well,” it was not he was going to learn anything from just reading the same sentence over and over again because he couldn’t make his brain even go any further than that. the only thing he had been accomplishing was getting some fresh air, which he supposed was better than nothing.
he just laughed a little, smiled back on his face as he shook his head. “take all the time you need or as many takes as you need. honestly, you’ll actually be doing me a favour,” not that his parents or teacher would agree with that if he ended up not learning anything and completely flunking the test. but he already knew that was going to happen, so he hardly cared very much.
“film you, i can do that,” though his camerawork was probably not the best, he was sure that he could manage. “are you doing it right here, or am i going to have to move?”
“I’m set up just over there,” Sana explains, twisting to point out the stereo and bag that she’d left in her chosen spot. In retrospect, that probably wasn’t her smartest move to just leave her equipment there unattended, but at least she’d thought to bring her camera with her while she hunted for assistance. Luckily, everything looks to be right where she left it.
She turns back to him and gives him a bright smile. “Thank you! You’re a lifesaver. I promise I won’t take up too much of your time.”
She takes a step back and waits for him to gather his things. “I have a bag you can put your stuff on so nothing gets dirty if you need.”
Once he has his things gathered, she waits for him to round the table and fall into step beside her before she holds up the camera again and begins to show him how to work it as they walk. “It’s really simple. You’ll basically just point and shoot-- I can edit everything so you don’t have to worry about starting--”
Her words come to an abrupt halt as she yelps, foot catching in a small divot in the grass and causing her to trip forward a step. Luckily she keeps her footing, and so she continues on as if nothing had happened. “--and stopping the video.”

kihyunrk:
the girl’s response only makes kihyun that much more thankful that he had been there to catch her, and the subtle smile he displayed in her direction did well to show it. light amusement filled him as he listened to her babble, which proved to be nothing short of endearing. “no, no—you didn’t kick me, don’t worry. you just kind of… slipped?” he chuckled, shaking his head for a moment before continuing. “lucky for you, i have fast reflexes.”
“i’m more worried about you. you didn’t get hurt, did you? maybe a sprained ankle, something like that?” kihyun tilted his head to the side, his expression shifting to show his concern. “maybe they should have made the signs more noticeable. i’m… sorry that this happened. like i said, i’m just glad i was there to catch you.” his smile began to return once more, though his curiosities weren’t yet put to rest. “did you, uh… did you find the sesame seeds?”
“Oh! No, no I’m fine--” Sana insists, eyes widening and making her look even more like a deer caught in headlights. “A little mortified, maybe, but fine.” She laughs nervously, even ducking her head a bit in mortification as her hands lift to fiddle with a stray curl of her hair. “Thank you again for catching me. That could have ended… badly.”
She winces and gives the floor shining beneath their feet a wary glance.
The yellow sign cheerfully warning customers of the slippery floor mocks her not two feet away.
“It was my fault, really,” she’s quick to assure, attention snapping back to the boy in front of her as he continues to fret. “I was the one not paying attention.” His question gives her pause though, and she cocks her head at him with a considering look. “I… still have no idea where the sesame seeds are to be honest. Or what they look like. Are they the ones that look like bird seed?”

@rkjinjin
It was pure coincidence. The streets were crowded and there was no way he would be able to pick up the faces of any random passerby beforehand – some he didn’t even notice the faces of as he simply passed out the flyers to KT as he had been assigned. Jinwoo found himself lost in thought along the way once the process had become pretty much automatised, and when he stopped the next person, it was almost the same situation. “Excuse me! Would you mind accept–”
This time however, he had to stop himself mid sentence as his eyes actually locked onto the face of the girl who had stopped from his calling out. It took a bit to place her as he had seen many faces throughout his life and the various places his daily life brought him to, but fortunately this one had been pretty recent: a small scale dance school from a couple of months ago. “Ah! Aren’t you from back then? The one who got number 3 in the girl’s category?” For a moment he felt bad about pointing out the fact that she didn’t win, because he himself knew how hard it was to be so close and yet so far. But in the end it was all a learning process, that much he had come to realise although sometimes he still struggled to acknowledge it. “I think you should definitely take one of these. It’s a poster with some important dates for events by KT Entertainment. Please consider joining some of them, okay?”
Sana blinked, turning at the sound of someone calling out, eyes scanning the crowd until they landed on the boy handing out flyers that she’d just passed. Her lips pulled into a friendly smile as she dutifully began picking her way back through the crowd to meet him halfway-- she was running late for her shift at the boba shop, but she knew how awkward it could be to be in his position and so she went ahead and stopped anyways.
She startled at his outburst. But, after a second glance, her smile became more genuine. “Ah! Yes, that was me! How are you?” she accepted the flyer but barely spared it a glance for now, intending to give it a proper look over once she was at work. “I’m so sorry-- I’m running late for work. I’ll defiitely check this out though! Thank you!”
With a quick bow and a giggle, she waved in parting before disappearing into the crowd.

Mochi is what you would call an escape artist.
For something with such little legs, he has an uncanny ability to wriggle out of his harness and make a break for it the moment that he senses weakness. It doesn't matter how careful Sana is to keep him on a tight leash. The second that something catches the little corgi’s eye, he's gone.
Today the culprit is an unsuspecting squirrel that shoots across the sidewalk several paces ahead of them. The rustle of leaves immediately attracts Mochi’s attention, and the only warning Sana gets that something is about to go horribly awry is the park of the pup’s too big ears, and in the blink of an eye, Mochi thrashes his way free of his harness and takes off after the squirrel at a dead run.
Fast-forward twenty minutes and Sana is still trying to find her wayward pet. She's getting a little teary eyed thinking she's lost Mochi for good, but she’s at least enlisted help looking for him now. “Uhm, yes. Yes, that's a good idea,” she agrees with a shaky nod, hurriedly digging her phone from her pocket and unlocking the screen before offering it to the other girl. “Thank you so much for helping. He usually doesn't go this far.”

Sana’s smile widens in relief when the boy doesn’t immediately wave her off or look at her like she’s grown a second head. She hadn't exactly paused to think her impromptu little plan through, and it’s only when he smiles and accepts the camera that she realizes just how wrong it could have gone--especially when she catches sight of the chemistry textbook at his elbow.
“I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt. Were you studying?” She points at the abandoned textbook with a sheepish wince. Suddenly, she feels a little guilty for interrupting him at all. “I promise this will only take a few minutes. I’m just trying to film this dance video, and my tripod seems to have lost a screw somewhere along the way and--”
Realizing she's babbling nervously and that he’s actually already agreed to assist her, Sana cuts herself off with a shy laugh. “Me,” she finally remembers to answer, “I need your help filming me.”

No sooner than the yelp of surprise left her lips, Sana felt strong arms curl around her, keeping her from hitting the floor without a second to spare. Her eyes were wide in alarm as her savior helped her find her feet. Her cheeks were already beginning to pinken as she straightened, a hand going to her chest as if that would somehow help slow her panicked heartbeat.
“Thank you so much,” she breathed with a shaky laugh, one hand curled in his sleeve to keep herself upright since her knees still felt a little weak from the scare. She froze when her eyes finally lifted to meet his, stilling in surprise that had nothing to do with her little slip once she got a good look at her rescuer. Her blush deepened as she began to babble. “Are you okay? I didn’t kick you did I? I’m so sorry, I didn’t even notice the sign. I was looking for sesame seeds and I just--”

It had been a while since Sana decided to shoot a video in a public space. Usually, she preferred to film at the studio away from distractions and pedestrians-- there was nothing more discouraging than someone walking right in front of her camera while she was in the middle of filming. Especially when it happened multiple times in a shoot. It didn’t seem to matter where she set up or how out of a location she tried to find, she always managed to be in somebody’s way.
Today was different though. There were few things Sana loved more than autumn, and the leaves in the park had just started to change colors and begin to fall as the weather turned colder. It was the perfect backdrop for filming. The park wasn’t even that busy with people today, so she was able to find a location to shoot with relative ease. Of course, maybe she was having too much luck today, because as she was setting up her tripod she realized that it had lost a screw somewhere and one of its legs refused to stay extended. No matter how many times she tried to carefully adjust the leg, it slid right back into its original position.
Finally admitting defeat, Sana straightened and bit her lip as her eyes lifted to scan the park around her. She needed something to hold her camera upright so she could film. Or maybe someone?
Her eyes fell on a boy reading at one of the nearby picnic tables. Without giving herself a chance to talk her way out of it, she grabbed her camera and moved over towards his table with a sheepish smile. “Hi-- I’m sorry to bother you, but would you mind helping me with this?” She lifted the camera in her hands shyly. “My tripod seems to be a lost cause.”

It wasn’t often that Sana’s brother was able to come home for the weekend. As a trainee, his schedule was crammed full with practices and other engagements, and if he wasn’t working on an assignment then he was catching a rare moment of shut eye. There was no telling when the last time that he’d had a real meal was, and that was why Sana had made it her mission to fix him something herself.
Unfortunately, she could barely boil water without setting the kitchen on fire, and so she was a little in over her head on her little quest. That didn’t mean she was going to give up, though. She had her menu picked out, she had her grocery list in hand, now if she could just figure out where they kept the sesame seeds.
She was so engrossed in her list and her quest for the first ingredient on it that she completely missed the cheerful yellow Wet Floor sign strategically placed in the aisle ahead of her-- and so the second she stepped on the freshly mopped floor, her feet slid right out from beneath her, and she pitched backwards with a surprised yelp.
