Shiva’s Divine Union with Kali

Kali and Shiva have a close relationship based on great cosmic balance and divine oneness. Shiva and Kali combine into an androgynous goddess in the “half-feminine Goddess” form, with Shiva on the right and Kali on the left, therefore signifying the inescapable link between the masculine and feminine cosmic powers.

Their cosmic dance, sometimes referred to as the “Tandava,” shows still another dynamic interaction. Shiva stops Kali’s dance of destruction, therefore underscoring the fine equilibrium between life and death, creation and destruction. Aldebaran is the Eye of the Bull in the constellation of Taurus equivalent to 8° Gemini in the Tropical zodiac.

Aldebaran, as many fixed stars, have been watched by the ancients for millennia, they carry great myths and star stories in their beams. Aldebaran is known as one of the 4 Royal Stars, found close to the ecliptic, and defining the 4 directions in night skies as well as the 4 Archangels. Aldebaran is closely associated with archangel Michael.

Aldebaran is a giant red/orange star, 44 times bigger than our Sun, and 65 light years away.

It is known as the "Watcher of the East", the red "Bulls Eye" or the "Follower" as it follows the Pleiades thru the sky (yet never catches) and its redness is associated with Mars. Fixed stars by tradition have carried with them many negative influences, tales of disaster, misfortune and ruin and specific to Aldebaran, restlessness, riots and revolution, and the mustering of courage and steadfastness.

Aldebaran is also called Ashtari, and Alpha Tauri, the planet of the Anunnaki. It is the brightest star in the Hyades; a giant red star in the constellation of Taurus; one of the 15 brightest stars with a visual magnitude of 0.85. Its diameter is 44 times that of the Sun.

It is accompanied by a very faint (13th magnitude) red star. Distance from Planet Earth: 65 light-years from Earth.

At one time, it was believed that the planet is a member of the Hyades cluster, but in fact Aldebaran is 85 light-years closer to Earth.

Aldebaran was nicknamed “The Follower” since it rises after the Pleiades cluster of stars.
