Cassius au Bellona and Sevro au Barca from Red rising.

Okay! I cannot belive I'm going to say this but I finally finished a project I have set my mind on! These are the last ones and correspond with Morning star.

I choose Sevro and Cassius here because they kinda symbolize the two sides, Cassius the society and Sevro the revolution, and they both at the end of the day fall sort in they supposed rol. Sevro being a follower more than a leader and Cassius honor being always in a constant fight with what's right.

Sevro's wolfskin was a pain in the ass to draw but worse was Ares helmet and he has in his armor some elements of victra's armor, because I wanna belive they were destined to each other. I also tried to make him pretty because he is my friend crush, hope I can say I have succeeded a bit.

Now to my favorite part, my husband, Cassius. I have to admit that I struggled a lot with his armor, because I mostly draw him without one, and without clothes, so I wanted to find some time of balance between kinda like a white knight armor and a very cool slick armor but it always felt short in comparison with the others. So I finally set into this one. Also I have to dive into the wiki trying to find a description of his armor because I knew it was a bit of it somewhere in the books. And I'm going to stop taking about him that the simp in me comes out

Will I do more for the second part of red rising? Maybe, I think my friend will force me to do it so the chances are high. I might upload shitty photos of how they look assembled, probably, I use this as my way of shouting to the void so the chances are also high.

Victra au Julii (also Barca) and Adrius au Augustus.

Okay, part 2 golden son edition and I choose Victra and Adrius. In this book I have to say them are my favorite characters, apart from my husband Cassius, so I draw them.

Victra is one of my favorite characters and I genuinely love her and Adrius... He is an icon, a bad person yes, but an icon. He stays all of Golden Son saying the most iconic shit and getting what he wish, power. And what can I say, I love a villain that knows what he wants and takes it, and it's iconic while doing it. Now that I think about it he kinda reminds me of a 90s Disney villain (just in golden son). And Victra... Well I wont say no to marry her.

Darrow au Andromedus (O'Lykos) and Virginia au Augustus.

Some months ago I commented to one of my best friends that I wanted to read the saga of red rising that I have seen it recommended on TikTok, without imagining that it's her favorite saga. So she basically forced me to read it and I have to say... it has consumed me.

So for her birthday I decided to make her some bookmarks for the first trilogy, and this is the first pair.

When I decided on who to choose for the first book my mind went directly to Darrow as we start the story with him as our protagonist but I debated alot to choose his pair. At first I wanted to do Sevro as they are a very dynamic pair and also to try to not draw Virginia as I don't like her... But at the end of the day I ended up choosing her (do not fret, Sevro will be part of this) because they just... Fit.

So enjoy Darrow and Virginia as I imagine them while reading the books, in this kinda of Alphonse Mucha composition. Each one has flowers that I belive it fit them, with darrow poppies and Virginia roses.

When I started to decide who I should put in the first bookmark Darrow obviously came to mind, he is the protagonist and with him starts the story and my first impulse was to set him with Sevro, kinda honestly because I just don't like Virginia, but also because they are a very dynamic duo but at the end I decided with the obvious paring because at the end of the day... They fit.

I do continue with the portraits, now it's time for Rhaenyra Targaryen.

How many more of these will I do? I don't know, I will be uploading them as I do them.

Also I think that the dance will not occur if Alicent and Rhaenyra would just had gone to marriage consuelling and have a big lesbian family.

With hotd season 2 my hype with asoiaf has been reborn so I did an Alicent Hightower portrait.

I have been loving this season so far and I'm hoping to see more of the disasters that are born out of a lesbian divorce.

OH MY GOD, IT'S ARYA.

Yeah I disappeared, but I did Arya, and I love Arya a lot. I see a lot of Arya in my younger self and she was my favorite character growing up.

I did Arya in Braavos in her no one not really no one phase, the weird space between the hands kinda represents that. Her clothes are kinda based in Naples clothing because I like to imagine the free cities as the Mediterranean.

I finally did another one! Speaking of when things are finally done, hoping that in the new book she can start making some sort of comeback after that whole oopsie daisy bouquet at Mereen. 

(Ps: In my mind painted vest equals the dothraki have a hobby besides pillaging, and they paint little drawings and patterns in their stuff).

(Another headcanon: Daenerys get's super sunburned easily on acount of the Targaryen being albino adjacent.

Because the irony of being the unburned, and looking red as a crab if the sun so much as grazes her is strong).

Okay I finally did Jon, and I have to do him in the biggest cliffhangers I have read (honestly, just because we have been waiting for the dammed book 12 years).

As always I change some parts of the design:

1: I tried to do his face in a way that resembles Ned Stark, but in a same way that if you have Jon and Rhaegar next to each other you can see the resemblance. (I'm not a very big fan of L+R=J, just because I don't like the idea of a chosen one and Jon being so special, and because I don't like jon, but I have to admit that it looks like that theory is correct so I have to suck it up and accept it as thruth)

2: his clothes resembles samoyedic clothes, that are the ones that I do imagine the free folk wears (one day I will draw one of them I swear) I did it so I can show how Jon is not a true crow and his time beyond the wall change him and how he is more like them than the night watch.

3: I change long claw because I'm lazy, sorry I have not an excuse.

Next one is Arya and I'm incredibly excited for her

I know I promised Jon but he is being... Difficult... I will ended up doing him death at this pace, but in the meantime I have done the conquerers.

I have decided to put them in kinda roman clothes, being Aegon the type of clothes roman Caesars are shown in statues, Rhaenys more of an roman novelwoman with some Athens references and Visenya is Sparta.

Am I risking the post because of nipple Visenya? Yes, Am I going to censor it? No

Also I belive that the only thing aegon gifted his descendants is the ability of looking young forever in true twink fashion.

Maybe I will continue doing these some time.

This drawing is the mix of my obsession with genshin taking over, playing too much d&d to the point of not having time to do anything else and art block. So my bestie and I started joking that I should do beheaded Ned. And because I wasn't very inspired... I did beheaded Ned.

In two weeks it's the turn of Jon Snow.
