Diwata's School Life
General information important to her lore and relationships with other characters.
The first few months went by quickly at Jujutsu High. During classes they learned the basics of their techniques, after class Diwata, Kento, and Yu spent a lot of time together. Later they started learning their activation phrases if they needed them and their hand signs. Every day they sat together at lunch, Hibara making them learn almost everything about each other. She learned Nanami had an older brother, who was a lot like himself, and Hibara had a younger sister. The boys learned she was adopted and had two older siblings, unrelated to her. She learned their favorite foods and drinks while they learned hers, though she felt the information was useless to her. Slowly their past unfolded in front of each other, and they got along most of the time.
Slowly they moved on to missions, small ones with low grade curses. As the year passed they got stronger and began fighting higher grade curses. Diwata normally didn't struggle with exercising them, but more recently the curses have felt just beyond her level.
“Kento! I need a bit of help over here!” Diwata yells, stabbing at the curse in front of her. Even with her cursed weapon she couldn't take it out.
Nanami runs over, grabbing his blunt blade from his back. With one heavy swing he takes out the curse.
“You need to stay behind us, you're not as strong as we are.” He says, pointed.
Diwata glares at him, “I'm perfectly capable of grade three curses. And I'm getting stronger. Unlike you I don't have an offensive technique.” She bites back, “Besides, without my luck you might've been struggling too.”
Hibara runs up, out of breath, “That was a little more difficult than I thought it would be. Are we sure those were grade 3?”
Diwata puts a hand on her hip, looking at Nanami as if saying ‘I told you so.’ Yu wraps his arms around each of their shoulders, both Kento and Diwata going tense slightly at the contact. Both of them, still heated from their argument, fight back slightly as he pulls them closer to his sides. He begins ranting about the fight as he dragging them back to campus.
Waiting there at the front is Yaga, their teacher, “You guys did well. We need to work on your team work though, you all seem to be splitting up.”
Diwata shrugs Yu’s arm off her shoulders, pushing through the front door. Kento always seemed to be pushing her behind them as if she were useless. The only time she felt their relationship falter was when they were dealing with curses. She runs to her room, collapsing onto her bed and screaming into her pillow.
“Dinners ready. Are you okay?” Shoko asks, walking up to her open door when Diwata has finally stopped throwing a fit.
Diwata turns over, “Kento is treating me like a child, like I'm weak. I know I'm not as strong, but any time I need help he acts like it's an inconvenience.”
“I get it.” She says, "Maybe you should ask Suguru or Satoru for some training. They’d be happy to help.”
Diwata nods, maybe she should. She takes a moment to think, Suguru had always been nicer to her and they seemed to get along well, maybe she'd ask him. Heat rises to her cheeks, that means alone time with Geto… she'd always found him a bit attractive, but with how nice he was compared to a lot of the others she'd met, her feelings began to grow.
Shoko and Diwata make their way to the cafeteria. They could all fit at one table, yet the first years seemed to sit on their own. It was almost the end of the year and, though, she'd gotten to know Kento, he still felt distant. Not that she'd gotten much from him, besides what Hibara could get out of him when they were together. Still sore from his words earlier that day, she decides to sit with the second years. She gets her food before Shoko, and sits at their empty table.
“Ieiri said you had a question for me.” Suguru says, placing his food down next to her, “Something about jujutsu training?”
Diwata’s face burns as she tucks a bit of her hair behind her ear, “Yeah… I just want to be able to fight like Nanami can.”
Gojo sits across from her, “And you didn't want to ask me?” He feigns hurt, clutching his chest, “I'm stronger than him, you know!”
Shoko shakes her head, sitting next to the silver haired boy, “Your technique is stronger, but I think Nanami would win in a fist fight.”
Gojo’s mouth falls to the floor, even Hibara nods as he walks by, “You think that scrawny kid over there can be at me? Let's bet on it.”
The other three shake their heads, “You're not fighting a first year.” Suguru laughs, folding his arms across his chest. He turns to Diwata and whispers, “Meet me tomorrow morning at 6 in the field. We can start training then.”
Diwata’s face gets bright red as his breath fans her ear. Her heart leaped as she thought of training tomorrow, or really having Suguru all to herself. She barely sleeps that night, her mind racing with possibilities. As the sun comes up, she quickly and quietly dresses and runs out the door to the training field. Suguru was already there, sitting and picking at the grass. His eyes were shining gold when he looked at her in the early sun.
“Good morning.” He smiled, pulling himself off the ground, “Let's get started.”
Diwata nods, trying to calm her racing heart, “Where should we begin?”
Geto walks around her in circles, judging her body up and down, “You don't look very strong… let me see what you can do, let's start with sparring.”
Diwata’s heart clenches at his consensus. Of course she didn't look strong to him, he was bigger and older. She sets her stance, ready for whatever he throws at her. His movements are quick as he lands a punch directly in her abdomen. It was lighter than she thought it'd be and quickly jabs her fist into his jaw with all her might. He stumbles back and smirks at her, as if trying to egg her on. He sends his fist at her again, missing her face as she leans away. Diwata spins and kicks his ribs full force, sending him into the ground.
“Oh my gosh!” Diwata squeaks, covering her mouth with her hands, “I'm so sorry, Geto.”
He laughs, shaking it off, “Not bad, you're stronger than you look.” He stands in front of her, taking her fist in his hands, “Clench your fists as tight as you can, and put your thumb here. Your kicks are strong, but you need to work on your punches.”
Her heart beats rapidly as his fingers brush over her hand, “I have a curse weapon as well. Should I bring it next time?”
Geto shakes his head, “No, let's work hand to hand first.” He leans down to her ear, “I won't keep holding back, so you better get stronger quick.”
He pulls away from her, grinning. Diwata’s mouth sits agape with her cheeks flushed as he turns and runs off to breakfast.
Geto and Diwata’s training continued everyday until their break at the end of the year. She'd gotten stronger and was able to hold her own against Suguru after a month or so. He was still stronger, but she finally stood a chance. On the first year's last mission, she didn't need to call for Hibara or Nanami to help her. She handled the curses on her own and they finally worked as a team.
Hibara hugs her tight as he gathers his bags, “I'll see you in a few weeks.”
Most of them were off to see their family until the beginning of April. She waves to him as he hops in the cab. Nanami left that morning without a word. He wasn't going to be gone long, it seemed illogical to be away from school for several weeks. Diwata on the other hand had planned to visit for a week, but her parents decided to take a trip before they knew she'd be headed home. She turns to go back to her empty room when she's faced with Saturo.
“Gojo…” she states surprised, “Aren't you going home for the break?”
He shakes his head, “Nah, my family is a bunch of old guys. It's better to stay here.”
“Mine went on a vacation to see my mom's parents.” She shrugs.
Gojo’s shaded eyes gleam with mischief, “How has your training with Geto been?” Diwata responds with a shrug, hiding the red creeping up her neck, “If you want, I can help you train while he's gone. Get you even stronger so you can beat him.”
She sends him a pointed look before sighing, agreeing to his proposal. For the next few weeks they spent almost every morning training, Gojo beating her every time. During the evening they'd walk around the city, challenging each other to get a piercing, tattoo, or even try the spiciest thing on the menu. Despite her previous perception of Satoru she ended up finding a good friend in him. When the other students finally came back, Diwata had several ear piercings, and Gojo had one ear pierced, though he never took care of it so it closed soon after.
The second year started better than the year before. She finally felt close to Kento and Yu, spending most of her time with them. Gojo became almost annoyingly clingy when Geto was away. And Geto… left her utterly confused. In some moments he'd seem to be flirting with her, yet in others he acted as though she were just another student.
The year passed quickly, Nanami finally accepted her strength, and she finally beat Geto in a fight. As she grew stronger, their training began to decline, they'd spar once a week, then she never saw him again. He'd started pulling away from her and Gojo. Though it made her a bit sad, she put all her effort into her relationship with Nanami and Hibara… until…
The three of them were sent off on a mission to exercise grade 2 curses, but when they got there, they were grade 1. Diwata barely made it out alive, her body scared and aching, Nanami made it out unscathed physically, but Hibara… Hibara was gone. After that she lost Nanami also. Kento threw himself into the lessons and missions, making Diwata feel alone. The only person she had left was Satoru, but even he had pulled away some. After he graduated she was utterly lost, floating through her final year.
The two of them graduated and quit sorcery. Diwata went on to work in finance. Her mind had been all but made up when she found Gojo, bleeding out on the sidewalk during his mission to deliver the new vessel to Tengen. Haibara's death secured her resolve to leave the job altogether.
A year after her graduation, as she's headed into the office, a familiar white haired man stops her. This time he's wearing a black band around his eyes.
“Satoru Gojo.” She says in disbelief.
He grins, his familiar grin, “Diwata You. I've been looking for you.”
With him standing in front of her it's as if time had never passed. And it doesn't seem to as they fall into step next to each other. He walks her to her office asking to meet after she's finished. She agrees and their friendship picks up from where it left off. Satoru never tries to convince her to rejoin Jujutsu Sorcery and she never questions why he's late. She hadn't made any friends in her time as a civilian, she was unable to connect with them as she went through so much.
The two of them spend almost every day together. They go to dinner, arcades, and play video games. A couple years go by, and Satoru becomes her closest friend. Though he worked a lot they still managed to spend at least a full day together every week.

Diwata First Meetings
This takes place in her first year and is basically just how she meets everyone. More character relationships will be coming!
Diwata stands in front of Jujutsu High, only a few years ago her parents had adopted her and now they'd sent her off to some special school. Her mind raced, she had never been to Tokyo and wasn't sure if she'd even like it here, but her parents demanded to learn about her abilities. Diwata senses a presence beside her. She turns to find a boy, maybe a year older than her resting his arm on her shoulder. He was tall, with white hair and bright blue eyes hiding behind circular sunglasses.
The boy sighs, looking down at her through his glasses, “Your first day, huh?” She watches him scratch the back of his neck, stretching with a gleam in his eye, “Want a tour, I know the whole building.”
“Satoru, be nice to the first years.” Another boy, probably the same age as the first walks up and smacks the other's head. This boy was the same height as him, but his hair was long and black and his eyes were deep brown.
Diwata hugs her arms close to herself as the other defends himself, “Come on, Suguru, I was being nice. I just offered her the premium tour!”
“I'm Suguru Geto, this is Satoru Gojo.” The second boy, Geto, says ignoring the first, “Would you like us to show you to your room?”
Diwata nods, “That would be very nice…”
Suguru shows her around, somehow keeping Gojo in check. The white haired boy cracks jokes and teases her, as Geto leads them through the halls to a row of doors.
“This is our dorm. You will be in a room next to Shoko.”
Gojo skips forward and knocks on one of the doors, “Shoko! We've brought a new first year by!”
The girl before her has her brown hair cut into a bob and brown eyes. She looked normal for the most part, sending the two boys a glare.
“Hi, I'm Ieiri Shoko. What was your name?” she says, a smile evident on her face.
“I'm Diwata Yu.” Diwata mumbles, realizing she forgot to introduce herself to the boys.
“Well, Diwata, go set down your stuff and go meet your classmates.” she says, opening the door next to hers.
Diwata enters, placing her bags down on the empty bed, taking in the plainness of the room. Shoko ushers her out and the three upperclassmen steer her to two other doors. They barely have the chance to knock as Gojo swings the doors open. Inside are two boys around Diwata’s age. One is slightly taller than the other with blonde hair tucked behind his ears and hazel eyes. The other had brown hair in an almost bowl cut and dark brown eyes.
“I'm Kento Nanami.” The blonde introduces, never looking up from his unpacking.
The brunette smiles widely at her, “I'm Yu Haibara, it's nice to meet you!”
Diwata attempts a smile, nervousness setting in, “I'm Diwata Yu… it's nice to meet you as well.”
“Well, we’ll let you guys get acquainted before dinner.” Suguru says, pushing the other two out, “We will see you later!”
The upperclassmen run down the hall leaving the three first years, strangers, in the corridor alone. Kento turns and continues unpacking, unfazed by the events that just unfolded. Yu looks at Diwata excited and expecting.
“What's your technique?” He asks, his friendliness slightly overwhelming.
Diwata hesitates at his question, she wasn't one for socializing, “I can manipulate people's luck, making my allies extremely lucky or causing misfortune for my foes.”
“Tell her what you can do, Nanami!” Highbara says enthusiastically. His eyes are bright with excitement, but Kento doesn't answer, “He can manipulate cursed energy and reinforce it.”
Diwata nods, taking in Kento's frame, he just looked like a regular kid, not able to do everything Hibara was saying. They stand in silence until he's done unpacking, offering to walk around the campus to learn it better. It was a logical suggestion and the three set off. They found every room in the campus before dinner was ready. The three sat together at a table, Hibara being the only one keeping conversation going.

Diwata's Backstory
In a quiet country town, a baby was born. The baby was sent to an orphanage in the neighboring city, her mother had passed and her father unknown. She was named Asako Tomo. Most of the kids she spent her time with were older and angry, so soon she became quiet and reserved to keep the anger at bay. She spent a lot of her time studying, trying to be better to get adopted, but it was no use. She gave up when she turned six, no one wanted a kid, they only wanted the babies; however, even then her mauve hair and tanner skin made her undesirable.
At eight an older couple came to visit. They'd seemed to take an interest in her, but she denied it, assuming they'd find another kid instead. After several months they came back with paperwork to take her home. They drive to a small restaurant first, meeting two teenagers who they introduce as their kids.
"This is your older brother, Ju, and your older sister, Jireh." Her new mother says, "My name is Manila."
"I'm Eiji." Her new father adds, "You can call us whatever you're comfortable with."
She sits across from the teenagers, who don't seem to mind her presence, "I'm Asako Tomo, but normally people just call me Tomo."
"We have given you a new name." Manila states slowly, "Diwata Yu. You is our last name. If you're more comfortable with us calling you Tomo we can do that."
"Diwata?" She says quietly. Asako had always been her name, but now that she was with a family it felt right to leave it behind, "Diwata is fine."
"Good." Eiji grins, rubbing his hands together, "You start private school in a week. For now we're going to get to know you and get you everything you need."
Time went on and Diwata became used to her name. Her family was nice, caring, and made sure she knew she was staying. School was the same, for her first two years she went with her older sister, but she graduated and Diwata was left alone. She kept her grades high, but longed for break when they would go visit Manila's family. They lived near a lake and massive forest.
When she was ten, she saw a monster in the sense foliage, fear struck her. She quietly made her way away, somehow she was completely silent. More occurrences began to happen. On tests she hasn't studied for and was nervous about, she passed with flying colors. At twelve, her first bully slipped when he was on his way to terrorize her and broke his arm.
That's when some men arrived to talk to her parents. Diwata assumed she was going to be in trouble, but instead her mom told her she would be sent to a special school in a few years that would help her more. They told her she had a special ability that the school could teach her to use properly.
Diwata hated the idea. It felt like a ploy to send her away again. She became angry and combative any time they brought it up. They sat her down two months before her fifteenth birthday.
"Dia, this school will be good for you. You'll be able to do some many good things." Her mom erged her, "When you are let out for breaks we can come to Tokyo to see you or we can travel. We promise."
"It feels like you're just sending me away to make things easier for you. You're doing just what my mom did." She sobs.
Her father takes her hands, "You know that's not true. Diwata, we want the best life for you. You can do some amazing things, and this school is the lost equiped to help you."
"What can I do?" She asks angrily, "All I'm good at is causing problems."
"You're lucky." Her mom smiles, as Diwata glares at her, "I'm serious, Dia. Those men said you can manipulate luck. They said you'd be a great help in their field."
"That doesn't make sense, mom."
"It will. I promise."

Orchid and Nanami's Story
Quick story of how Nanami and Orchid met.
The cafe was quiet as Orchid walked in, only the tall blonde man she'd seen several times before. The man always got the same thing, a black coffee and some kind of pastry. He arrives at the same time every day, just as she did, and leaves as quickly as he can, just as she does. But on this day, she arrived early, hoping to be able to talk to him. She quickly orders and stands next to him as they wait.
“You're early.” The man says, not even turning to look at her.
Orchid nods, “And you're still on time. I'm Orchid, Orchid Birdwhistle.”
“Kento Nanami.” He replied, still not looking at her.
Orchid bites the inside of her cheek. He was really making it difficult. Their orders are called at the same time. They both walk forwards and take their respective coffees and turn to leave the shop.
“I’ll see you tomorrow.” Kento affirmed.
Orchid didn't do much but nod, turning away from him and walking to her own office. The next month or so consisted of her getting there earlier than normal, him commenting on it, and her asking one question about himself.
She learned he was a salary man, he hated his job, and he wasn't seeing anyone. As he answered each question hope began to bloom in her chest.
“I'm normally running early.” Orchid states, “Would I be able to walk you to your office?”
Kento shakes his head, “It would be more logical for me to walk you. My building is about a block past yours.”
Orchid nods, surprised at his acceptance. They walk quietly beside each other until they reach her building, “Well… I'll see you tomorrow?”
Again Kento shakes his head, “I’ll meet you here after work.”
Quickly he spins on his heel and walks to his own office. True to his word, Nanami was there when she finally left work that evening. He takes her briefcase and they walk to a cute little restaurant nearby. Though they don't talk much, the air around them never feels awkward.
“How old are you, Kento?” Orchid finally asks.
“Twenty-eight.” He states.
She nods, quickly answering his unasked question, “I’m about to turn twenty-six.” She pauses trying to make conversation as they wait on their food, “What's your family like?”
“I have an older brother.” Orchid waits for him to continue, “That's it.”
“I have five siblings. They're mostly doctors and lawyers, one of my sisters works in cyber security.” She rambled, “They thought I was crazy for going into architecture, but I love it. I get to help create some beautiful buildings.”
The conversation pauses as the waitress brings their food. It had been a while since Orchid had been on a first date… was this a date? She shakes her head, it didn't matter, she was just happy their relationship was growing.
“What buildings have you helped design?” He asks, something shining in his eyes.
Orchid swallows her food quickly, “I helped design the new theatre going in across town, and the new supermarket just down the street. Besides that I've helped design homes, mansions, offices. Not all of them are being built though…” she pauses, “What do you do?”
Kento pauses, his eyes going stoney again, “I don't like to discuss my work. It's unpleasant.”
She nods, not wanting to push him. The meal finished quickly and silently. Her mind races as it passes, she didn't want the night to end on such a sour note, but she wasn't sure how to fix it.
Kento pays the bill, despite her protest, “Let me walk you home.” He offers.
“Oh… okay.” Orchid mumbles.
He carries her briefcase for her, his hand closest to her empty. A block from the diner she reaches over and laces her fingers with his, watching him to gauge his reaction. He doesn't pull away, instead he presses his fingers to the back of her hand, keeping his hold tight. Her heart skips as they walk, his hand staying firmly in hers. He takes her all the way to her apartment door, his hand still entwined with hers.
“I'll pick you up again tomorrow.” He states, finally letting go of her.
Orchid lets him walk away, unsure of what their relationship even was. A few days go by like this, Kento walking her home every night. It made her feel safe and cared for. The last day in August, two days before her birthday she has all the confidence in the world. When Nanami meets her after work, he takes her to the same diner as before. The meal was slightly less silent as Orchid vents and rambled about her job. Kento listens quietly, never interrupting her. He walks her back to her apartment, their pace slower than usual.
At her door their hands stay intertwined, “Thank you, for walking me home.”
“Of course, it's dangerous out there.” He states easily.
Orchid meets his eyes and gathering all her courage leans up to kiss him. It's short, and soft. She pulls away watching him closely. His face has changed from stoney to loose. He looked at her with an expression she'd never seen him wear before and couldn't place the emotion.
“Goodnight, Orchid. Happy birthday.” Kento whispers, kissing her one more time.
As the next week started Nanami was nowhere to be seen. He never came to the cafe, or picked her up from work. She assumed she'd taken things too far, which made him uncomfortable. However, midway through the second week he finally meets her after work. He looked more tired than usual, but his eyes sparkled when he saw her.
“I'm sorry I've been gone for a while. I was working overtime.” Kento apologizes, taking her hand in his.
Orchid smiles softly, “It's okay, work has been picking up for us too.”
He walks her to her apartment again, this time kissing her first. It was harder, almost more desperate than the last. It was as if he missed her, the thought made her heart swell.
Orchid pulls away slightly, “Do you want to come inside for dinner?”
Kento looks down at her, his hands sitting on her waist, “I should really get back to work.”
“Kento, just stay for dinner. I'm sure your job can wait half an hour.”
“Okay, but I'll have to leave right after.” He agrees, brushing his fingers against her cheek.
She turns and unlocks her door, a bit embarrassed that he'll see how she lives. It's not messy, but plants sit in every corner and there's at least one on every surface. She leads him to the kitchen and makes a quick meal for them to share. Kento absolutely devoted the garlic fried rice she made, telling her it's one of his favorite things.
Half an hour later he's at her door, kissing her goodbye, “I'll try to see you tomorrow, but I can't promise I will.”
“It's okay, just… you can come by anytime you're free.” She offers.
He smiles at her, something new she'd never seen before. He leaves quickly, and she sees him jogging back towards their offices, into the dark streets. The next day she gets home from work alone, but a note sits on the floor just inside the door. She opens it to find a letter from Kento, nothing about where he is, instead, it's about everything he likes about her. Orchid's face gets red as she reads it, walking dazzily to the kitchen for dinner. His writing was bold, sure of what he was saying. She held it close and found a small box to put it in, reveling in the way he thought about her.

My second Tav, who romanced Wyll and made him Duke. She also went half illithid... I wasn't happy but I was tired of save scumming so. She was a paladin fighter, subclass Vengeance, Champion fighter (I think). Her save has been corrupted so I can't even check now .... I loved her, she's who made me see Wyll better.
I love Wyll...

Amara's Backstory
Amara is from a small family in Baldur's Gate. They'd moved to the city while her mother was pregnant with her older brother. Her family had been struggling financially and thought the city would be a better outcome. Their luck changed a bit, but when Amara grew up she decided to leave, hoping to help their situation. She became a wanderer, traveling through the countryside in search of odd jobs. She would slay beasts, fix or find items, and save people. Amara was taken by the mindflayers while on a mission to kill a group of kobolds.
°°°°°°°°
She was my first Tav, a ranger who romanced Astarion and Ascended him (big mistake). Her subclass was Gloomstalker. Anything Ascended Astarion related was inspired by her.

Could I request headcanons for a Astarion, Gale, Wyll, and Halsin react to shy gn crush confessing to him?
I'm so sorry... Idk why I've been on a hiatus besides the fact that I JUST started my Gale romance playthrough... I'm the worst, but I'm back in action!
Masterlist
Astarion
•Finds Tav rather endearing, though he doesn't show it.
•He's surprised by their confession and takes a moment to gather himself.
•Astarion acts as though he'd known all along.
•He teased Tav by calling them pet, and darling in a seductive way.
Wyll
•Surprised by Tav's confession.
•He doesn't feel like he deserves someone like them.
•Wyll gets flustered, trying to voice his disbelief.
•He blushes a lot, before he finally accepts their feelings.
Halsin
•Halsin laughs. He's not surprised and has actually been banking on it.

Note
Could I request headcanons for Haarlep, Dammon, Rolan, and Zevlor react to shy gn crush confessing to him?
Masterlist
Dammon
Dammon gets a little shy at the confession, too.
He assures Tav he feels the same way.
Tells them they're cute when they blush.
Offers to take the out for dinner sometime soon.
Dammon takes Tav's hand and kisses it before the head home.
Zevlor
Zevlor is a little taken back from their confession, seeing as many of their interactions as friendly.
Admitting he does feel quite as strongly as Tav, but is willing to take things slow.
Sets a date a few days out at his favorite place.
Zevlor tells Tav he is excited to see them for their date and bids them a goodnight.
Rolan
Rolan admits to Tav he didn't know they felt any sort of way about him.
He says he's not quite ready for a relationship, seeing as he recently started at Sorcerous Sundries.
He says he'd like to wait a few weeks before taking the next step.
However, Rolan says he would like to see Tab for dinner at the end of the week.
Haarlep
Haarlep isn't surprised by their confession, but surprised they mean it.
He assumed he'd only be wanted the way Raphael did.
He tells Tav that because of his past he'd like to take everything very slowly in the dating aspect.
Haarlep admits to Tav he hasn't been on a date in a while and doesn't know how to go about it.
He agrees to meet Tav at home for dinner the next night.
