Tbh Ragatha started off as my least favorite character in tadc because she seemed like "Normal one" which was boring to me. Everyone else had such a distinct character but she was just "nice"
Anyway, starting from "I like... hate you... but I don't want you to hate me... is that weird?" she became a bit more relatable to me and I liked her more
Holy shit this episode tho
She is my fave now

I like to think that iterators clothes are made by Benefactors. Their clothes reflect the culture of the city, the ones in power and other things in its embroidery. Like their clothes look simple from afar but when you look closer you can see threads turning into images turning into a story.
And what iterator wears holds great importance to the city. Having the symbol of your house being embroidered on your iterators clothes is a sigh of high authority.
Some cities would treat their iterators with more respect and offer clothes to them. The iterators refusing new clothes would be a great sign and affect culture and politics. Other cities would simply force new clothes on the iterator to reflect current climate of the city.
And then Five Pebble's clothes are simple. They almost lack embroidery and patterns because of the controversy of his creation. Any embroidery he should've had would likely go on Moon's clothes.
Same with Moon's new dress. Her original clothes are lost when she fell. New dress is just a piece of fabric that withstood time. Clean slate.
But that's just my headcanon :3

Oh my gosh. I just found this website that walks you though creating a believable society. It breaks each facet down into individual questions and makes it so simple! It seems really helpful for worldbuilding!

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again but it is absolutely an example of civilizational inadequacy that only deaf people know ASL
“oh we shouldn’t teach children this language, it will only come in handy if they [checks notes] ever have to talk in a situation where it’s noisy or they need to be quiet”
