With the summer break nearly here, what do you think is every club (or however many clubs you want to do) biggest priority to sign during the transfer window?
oh this is fun! a solid handful of teams i can't really say who or what they should target so if those are your teams and you have ideas lmk.
acfc - defensive depth.
kcc - truly not much, maybe another CB since alana is out? but they're probably the best roster in terms of construction.
gotham - defensive depth. see here.
ncc - striker/finisher (finisher can be not a striker like kerolin was but like really a striker would be the best choice)
spirit - a gm for one, stability for the next, players back healthy is my major one. in terms of acquisitions? we just signed Cantore, which is fun but has bigger wrinkles/potential implications. more ob depth as well with wiesner and paige injured and coming back idk when. but yeah stability, health, and a gm big 3.
louisville - they're tricky. they need a little bit of everything and specifically a little bit of everything that can take them above mediocrity. maybe they go in my c/r/h category but they don't feel THAT bad.
chicago & royals & houston - anyone who is willing to play for you and is decently good at soccer.
wave & thorns & reign & orlando & bay - i don't watch closely enough/know enough about to determine a real target they should get.
#reign definitely need depth in the midfield though i think meza has been incredible and will only get better#with huerta coming back i’m honestly not sure it’s a matter of adding more defense#as much it is finding the right mix of what we have#and as much as i love her i think we start with taking lu out of the starting XI#she just can’t keep up anymore especially with our backline playing as high as it has been#seattle reign#nwsl
