I have been waiting for this for a year! Just too bad that I have gotten used to miqote sap that I also kind of don't want to change her still but She looks soooo GOOODDDD

The new benchmark also feels a lot shorter than the previous ones,I was expecting they would also have cutscenes for the pictomancer job.left me a bit dissapointed.

It all looks good so far though,just hoping there would be more upgrades and surprises once the expansion releases.

Her lynx companion does not like the new companion.

Yes,she named her lynx after Venat,she is not that creative with names but wanted to honor Venat in a way. After all it was she who gifted sapphire the mount anyhow soooo.

Also new crossover event is pretty nice,have not played ff16 so I had no clue what was going on but I must say that Clive is certainly handsome and torgal is a good boi.

Im practicing using clip studio now as well so my sketches are a little off at the moment.

There are many men that are very simpable so I organized my choices (and some of my wols choices) by race.

I added in the girls to be fair.

I couldn't really choose or pick anyone for the 2 question mark places,maybe in the future there would be new characters and I could update this.

But overall,ff14 men are just hot >///<

Ok umm so quick follow up

I did not expect this to blow up in just one morning but thank y'all for interacting with it!

I have read the tags and y'all have made really good points and it got me to think even further about this topic.that and I needed to clarify some more points

Firstly I was mostly thinking in a situation where it's like a friendly spar or possession,no need to outright kill the Wol so in my thoughts I still think g'raha would be up there,as much as it would hurt him to bring harm to Wol,he would give it his all to make sure Wol returns to normal and the suffering stops fast.

If in a situation where one HAS to kill Wol then yeah I believe estinien or y'shtola would be able to deal with all that no prob,we all know g'raha would crumble just from the thought of having to KILL the wol

Secondly this also changes significantly depending on which Wol we talking about since every Wol is unique and has different factors playing into this

So I didn't expect this to blow up this BIG

But thank you to all the interactions even if it's just a poll,it's been fun reading all the tags and such!

I just want to give a little update thought on this as the tags and reblogs gave great points on all sides.

Mostly I was thinking of a situation where the Wol does not need to be killed,rather just pacified or beaten up enough to make them return to their normal self.

I still think raha is the strongest and best candidate for this,he has the CT on his side,an all rounder,knows the Wol incredibly well,has 300+ years of experience,has matured a lot as the exarch,mayhaps even be an 8th rejoined shard,made time travel and world hopping basically possible,and a handful of other powerful tricks and spells on his sleeve.

In the case of a situation of killing the Wol,I believe raha would have a much harder time as of course he would never ever want to do that ever and would rather die first than think of that so either estinien or y'shtola is the better candidate.

The answer also changes depending on the specific Wol one has

( in my case,sapphire is a monk and a dark knight,but is incredibly dense as lyse.she would be too fast for y'shtola to properly finish her spells though she is a lot smarter and could easier use tactics to confuse her,estinien could hold his own against her but would be defeated nonetheless.even with nidhoggs power we have defeated him once so when it comes to pure strength,Wol beats him. Lastly comes raha,he is incredibly smart and just as versatile with 3 classes to keep in pace with her,combine that with his intellect and he can form a plan while defending himself long enough to either deal enough damage to her or bring her back to normal.that or prolly have someone else do the final blow.)

I wanted to fully color this initially but ran out of time and this was a huge challenge for me as it's pretty much my first group pic with this many characters and I don't have a set style for drawing some of them yet ahahuhuhu,so just enjoy this sketch instead as I also wanted to post it on val day.

struggling to draw lately and had this thought in mind so made a little doodle first. i think a few of the other scions might feel down when remembering their loved ones(not just romantic) too for the holiday, wol especially but in classic wol fashion,others come first.

emet-selch is giving an important talk in elpis. the warrior of light sneaks up behind him with a toy gun that makes a loud noise. a little "bang!" flag unfurls.

bewildered, after calming down he asks, "why on etheirys would you even do that?" while hythlodaeus cackles behind both of you.

"okay so," the warrior says, "this is not funny right now but one day, a long time from now, it will be. i promise. i think. still not quite sure how all this plays out."

~~Twelve thousand years later~~

"g'raha i had the shot and i took it. you should have seen his face. i think he was about to pee his pants."

g'raha is quiet for a long time, then says, "did they . . . even have guns? did you invent the concept? did emet-selch subconciously remember them years later in allag?"

the warrior of light: ". . . "

the warrior of light: ". . . ah shit"

~~a short while later~~

emet-selch stands before the scions at the end of the universe. he is Monologuing. hythlodaeus gradually steps behind him, ostensibly to get a good look at all of azem's new friends. he waves shyly at g'raha tia and puts a finger to his lips. he pulls a toy gun out from his robes.

perhaps it is because the warrior of light flinches when he notices every hair on g'raha tia's body suddenly stand on end, but emet-selch does not even blink or stop talking. without turning around he puts a hand up and lowers the toy gun.

because he does not raise a stink the warrior knows emet-selch thought the joke was hilarious
