In this au, Kayla is a centuries old pure blood vampire. Cullen is a mortal knight that gets assigned to be her personal guard.

It was almost love at first sight and a whirlwind courtship that turned into a happy marriage. But tragedy struck when he was called to war, killed in battle.

(Don't worry this is also a soul mate au where he comes back. I can't hurt these that badly not to 😭)
