losers club regression hcs!!

first of all, i hc eddie, richie, stan, and bill as flips, bev as a regressor and babysitter, mike as a babysitter, and ben as a cg!

this is a v long post so it's all going under the cut haha

regressor eddie:

- calls richie “chee” and it’s his nickname reserved exclusively for his regression

- one of the youngest regressors of the losers, usually from 2-4

- has a soft blue blankie that he carries around with him everywhere

- usually wrapped around himself so he can also hold his floppy puppy stuffed animal

- he’s spoiled by the losers and his and richie’s bed is covered in stuffed animals that he’s gotten from all of them

- eddie likes bluey and sofia the first

- he also really likes disney but he can only watch tangled with richie bc it’s triggering and he needs his cg there to comfort him and tell him that he’s okay and that he’s free from sonia and he doesn’t have to worry about her anymore

- he also needs to watch princess and the frog with someone else bc it’s scary in certain parts and he doesn’t like watching it alone

- but safe bets are coco, moana, frozen, and mulan

- knows all the songs to all the disney movies and will force richie to sing along

- “force” except richie will gladly sing all of them with him

- he sings the male parts so eddie can sing all the princess parts

- but it makes eddie laugh too when he tries to sing the high parts

- eddie’s laugh when he’s regressed is higher pitched but lighter and he isn’t so self conscious about it so he tends to snort and cackle more often

- he isn’t self conscious about a lot of things when he’s regressed but he does occasionally struggle with flashbacks from his childhood

- when he does, richie gathers him up into his arms and kisses his hair and rocks him back and forth to show him that he’s okay, that he’s clean and that he doesn’t have to scrub his skin raw

- or he’ll give eddie a bath, but he’ll be so much more gentle than he knows eddie will be to himself

- and he’ll wrap him in a towel and snuggle him and read him a book or tell him a story in a funny voice until he falls asleep

regressor richie:

- usually regresses in response to overstimulation or general stress, he has more planned regression days than the others

- finds great pleasure in watching people’s reactions to him swearing

- even though everyone knows that he realistically does know the words he usually acts like he shouldn’t so it’s always a surprise

- can be a major brat and gets punished for it sometimes but eddie’s too soft on him to give him any real punishment

- usually it’s just something like going to bed without dessert (but he’ll still give him strawberries or something else sweet)

- so richie tends to act up regardless

- he does like to be very cuddly though, and can be very sweet when he wants to be

- likes the backyardigans when he’s regressed younger and pokémon when he’s a bit older

- loves going to the park or swimming at ben and bev’s pool

- either constantly talking or nonverbal

- always wants to tell the losers about some new fact about dinosaurs or space

- loves spending time with babysitter bev

- she spoils him rotten

- (little eddie too)

- he makes the others regress more often than anyone else

- not on purpose, but there's just something about being around a regressed richie that makes the others slip too

- he also has a dexter dragon in huge and little and a weighted dino from target!

regressor bev:

- has a lot of negative regression triggers

- eddie does too but she's more likely to regress from a negative trigger

- her age range is 6-9 but usually on the older side

- bc of this she takes on a big sister role for the others which she loves

- she never wanted a bio sibling but she loves her little brothers

- her dynamic with bill is like the oldest sibling and second oldest who thinks they’re just as much in charge as the oldest

- like bill will tell eddie he has to clean up his coloring before he can watch a movie and bev will stand there with her hands on her hips and be like “yeah! you gotta clean first!”

- likes dressing up the boys and putting them in makeup

- she also likes going swimming and going to the park or on nature walks with ben, things that she never got to do with her dad

- she calls ben "benji" or "bear"

regressor stan:

- he doesn't regress very often but when he does it's either to 5-6 or absolute baby

- you would expect him to be very polite and quiet but he's actually kind of a menace

- he will throw a tantrum if you tell him he can't do something

- and he always needs to be entertained

- luckily, he can be entertained by pretty much anything

- you can put on one of those cat sensory videos where birds fly across the scene and he'll be engrossed in it for ages

- when he's baby he watches baby einstein and just babbles

- richie will watch with him but then get bored and start tickling him or making funny faces to make stan laugh instead

- he still likes doing puzzles, even if he needs to do easier ones in that headspace

- has shelves full of bird plushies and he can name each one and its latin name

- quite a big brat and always gets in arguments with richie that escalate quickly since they're both drama queens

regressor bill:

- always coloring or drawing something

- he likes making drawings for the others to color in

- teaches them all how to fold paper boats, too

- regresses anywhere from 6-12 depending on what triggered it

- will often lash out and then isolate if he's regressed because of a georgie memory/guilt trip

- sometimes he just wants to remember what it's like to be taken care of and loved the way a little kid should be

- but he also loves being able to be a big brother again, especially to eddie, who he always sort of viewed that way

- he and eddie get along fantastically when they're regressed, and everyone thinks they're the cutest

- loves minecraft and roblox (so does richie)

- tells them scary stories sometimes (aka retelling fnaf lore) which makes eddie cry so then he has to comfort him and tell him he was only joking and it's all fake

cg hcs:

- bev has flashbacks that ben does his best to help her through but he can't do much without touching her so he'll put on one of her favorite movies from that age and make her a snack and then just sit next to her while she calms down

- he struggles with feeling like a good cg sometimes because he has to figure out how to balance setting boundaries and rules for bev and not being a pushover while also not being too strict

- mike is a pretty easygoing babysitter

- he loves taking the kiddos on trips to the library or museums or petting zoos

- all of them like playing dress up with his clothes because his wardrobe is full of bright colors and heavy flannels

Regressor Bev Headcanons (It Chapter 2)

Her age range is around 4-7, but she can go lower under certain circumstances (more on this later, I'll make a separate post later for babyspace Bev!)

For a long time, her regression is completely involuntary, and primarily happens when she's scared or in pain

However, Ben helps her through a lot, and eventually, she starts being able to pick up on when she needs to drop and asking for help rather than panic dropping out of nowhere

(The panic drops still happen occasionally, but the rest of the Losers have gotten good at being able to pick up on the warning signs and get her somewhere safe)

Speaking of the rest of the Losers:

It takes a LONG time for her to get comfortable with regressing around anyone but Ben, but once she does, she gets so excited when she finds out that someone's coming over to visit when she's small

Richie is her favorite babysitter because he makes her laugh and lets her stay up late to watch TV with him (she always ends up falling asleep on him; Richie has never kept himself so still in his entire life); Stan is a close second because he likes to take her to the zoo and always lets her pick out a stuffie (or two) from the gift shop (on one trip she gets a penguin and names it after him; he denies to this day that he started crying in the middle of the gift shop)

She and Eddie bond over their similar trauma; he's usually who she'll go to when she has nightmares or just bad days in general

If anyone else is little around her she'll immediately go into big sister mode; she tends to be a bit older if anyone else is small with her, she likes to be the one in charge

A few more misc. headcanons because I am simply rotating her around in my brain:

DRESS-UP! Whether it's herself, her stuffies, or the rest of the group, she LOVES to pick out different outfits and show them off! If she's feeling on the older side, she'll sew clothes for her stuffies, her favorite thing is to give them outfits that match her own!

Very big on physical contact; loves being held/carried, gives lots of hugs, she can't sleep unless she's got someone to cuddle (or at the very least, someone to be in the same room as her)

Her absolute favorite thing is when Ben bounces her on his lap and makes up silly songs until she laughs

this got. a lot longer than I thought it would be and this isn't even all my thoughts. whoopsies
