I know I’m currently MIA but I can’t not do something for her birthday guys it’s just the Law i have to i’m obligated and bound by love and adoration for my precious tree child

so a friend of mine is watching bnha for the first time and because i’m hearing her reactions, i can’t not think of kazue and honestly i miss her a lot even though i’m not prepared to dive back in here,,,,

❝I don’t really remember where it came from, but I know that it’s really sweet and I like it!❞ She shamelessly looks around the room, searching for the elusive decoration. ❝I get to show my friends that I love them more than usual, and that makes me happy. Heehee, maybe there’s one around here?❞

❝Oh, oh -- mistletoes are up?!❞ She’s very excited for those holiday kisses!

❝I don’t know what it is,❞ she muses, releasing him and backing up a step to give him space. She’s familiar enough with that reddened complexion to know how to rectify the condition. Inside Kazue’s locker is a pouch of herbal tea meant to help with sleeping, and a warm crimson colored scarf. Attached is an unsigned note that reads ‘if you collapse don’t blame me, stupid tree’

She blinks curiously, retrieving the items to look over them individually. The note is spied very quickly, and it clicks into place just who left these in here for her. A smile stretches her lips at the thought of him going through this effort for her. It’s proof enough that he cares, even if he won’t admit it. 

After closing her locker, she sends a text message to the “mysterious” messenger:

"Happy birthday, Kazue!" Leia beamed, holding out a box that contained a cake she made for the other girl. It was in the shape of a Sakura flower and on top had a smaller box with a key chain of Kazue in her hero suit Leia had made.

it’s her birthday; wish her a good one! 

❝Uwahh, Aki-chan!❞ Kazue cheers, tone lilting with eagerness as she takes both gifts in hand. She takes a few moments to observe them, and her eyes visibly sparkle with gratitude and happiness. ❝Ahh, you didn’t have to do this! Thank you so much!❞ The boxes are set aside in favor of grabbing Leia into a snug embrace, squishing her cheek against hers. After a moment or two of squeezing the life out of her, Kazue pulls away. 

❝Hey, you should have a slice of this cake with me. You made it, after all, and I can’t eat this all by myself.❞

    What a turn of events. Something one would see out of a movie, almost wouldn’t you think? What would a teacher say to two young hero students debating on how to scale the building of a hero academy just to gain access back into it? Shion wasn’t one for causing inconveniences, but they really wanted to head back inside so that way they could get some proper sleep. 

     “I think it would be a great idea to check the lower floor’s windows first. This section doesn’t have any of my classmates’ dorms on the lower floors, otherwise, that would just be—very awkward.”  How would they explain themselves trying to enter one of their rooms through their window? 

❝Got it -- I can totally do that. Just sit tight, alright?❞

Offering the most assuring smile she can, Kazue proceeds to check each window of the dorm’s first floor. She grips the frames, jostling them to see if they move. Most of them don’t, but she does luck out with one of them. That has her smile falter into a small pout, only because that means she can’t scale the building (she was especially excited about that prospect), but she brushes that aside. With that figured out, she scurries back to Shion, wearing that beaming grin again. 

❝I found one! It’s toward the back, so I wouldn’t be surprised if someone forgot to lock it after letting some fresh air in, or something. Come on, let’s get you inside.❞
