Salvador Ramos is the leading example of what happens when you’re raised in a shitty environment. Salvador was not rich—he lived in a low-income area with a neglectful mom and a dad who was in and out of jail. He was also bullied very badly and was extremely depressed. When he said that he cried every night—and literally cried in front of the whole class—my heart truly broke, because no child should go through what he did.

Since he is a school shooter, people are not going to look at the full picture. They’re just going to view him as another heartless shooter who took the lives of children. People always want to blame the stupidest and most random things, like music and video games. They rarely ever blame the mental health system, and they won’t hold bullying accountable. I think I even heard that one of the victims’ families wanted to sue Call of Duty, but I could be wrong.

In conclusion, I think Salvador was lonely and depressed. His environment was pretty shitty, and no one helped him. That’s why I believe those factors were the leading cause of what happened in Uvalde.
