Theocracy is bad. Making and enforcing laws based solely on your interpretation of what your god wants is bad. Because your god and the rules he gives you apply to you and only you and not the people who do not follow your god and your interpretations of him. The Christian religious right in the USA loves to fearmonger about a different faith instating rules and laws based on their religion and then turn around and do that very thing to everyone. The concept of religious freedom isn’t just for you and your religion, it should be for everyone.
