I mean it depends anon On what the writers would do with it. And It would also depend on how others perceive it.

If they went with the spectrum would it simply be used for flavor, in which case why would they even have it? Or would there be more nuance then, with the more animalistic a faunus is the less they are treated like people, perhaps creating a class system in human society where the more human like faunus are treated more like humans but facing some racial prejudice, and the more animal like faunus being treated like animals or worse, slaves.

It can be interesting.. if you don't just use it to make the racism feel less real and thus have it be disassociated with actual racism and the fact it's- y'know- a shitty thing to be in (COUGH COUGH catgirl racism COUGH COUGH)

That's all, I do think the idea is neat but it requires a lot more handling with care. Have a lovely day everyone.
