I was literally crying for my meadow and Tami figured out solution for me that made me laugh but also THIS IS BRILIANT so I need to share
I’m going to buy seeds of meadow flowers and plant them RANDOMLY on public lawns and around people lawns, even private possesions if they dont cut the grass and dont care for the place.
Imagine you have some abbondend lawn and sudenly this year it blooms with flwers
I will feel like real Ghibli character, like freaking Totoro. I will go at evenings with my dog, and RANDOMLY DROPS SEEDS AT YOUR PLACE
And I want to share because maybe someone will start it too.
Don’t think about it as waste of money, you don’t need those flowers to grown at your place only, its not about sharing it with others and doing ‘others jobs’ because I dont fkin care about those people it doesnt matter where those flowers will grow as long as they grow and feed bees and change the world

I’m so pleased with my spring decor (I will allways buy mashrooms when I will find them) also some herbs: basil, parsley and chive, because I miss spouts and greeness of gardens. Tried to avoid plastic and really cheap decoration, birds are wooden :D

Again my statements are not for the disabled people that can’t have it the other way and just living they lives and doing their best
but if your idea of cottagecore is
surrounding yourself with fake flowers (you can get real or real dried! -not great for allergy, they are really dusty)
plastic plants in general (got a real one pleeaseee)
buying fast fashion and acrylic sweaters just because (second hand shops are your friend! I own two beautiful pure wool skirts for few zloty, learn how to sew, knit, repair you clothes)
going for The Aesthetic without any reflex
doing it with the idea that it’s only cute decor, that you can change next year for new Fashionable thing and throw away the stuff you’ve got (just please DON'T)
and you are not sleepless about Earth condition, you are not trying to live your best sustainable live, then rethink what are you doing pretty please

Idk who needs to hear it, but you should take care of your stuff as if it was super expensive because IT SHOULD BE expensive. I don’t care that you can throw away a pair of socks and got a new one. MEND THOSE AS IF IT WAS HANDCRAFTED take care of it, take care of your planet. Fast fashion will destroy us.

I start noticing that those ‘No waste, Natural living, Slow living” Channels on YT are hypocritical as hell xD They tell you to eat from your garden and how they stopped buying So Many Things years ago, and then will boil quinoa or cut avocado that were produce far away from their home country - so it has to be transported, destroying environment and probably harvested by some workers living shitty life (I don’t want to write about salvery or even child salvery if I’m not sure)

if something is produced only in a few parts of the world HOW MUCH THOSE PLACES HAS TO BE OVERUSED TO FEED ENTIRE WORLD I'M ASKING YOU.
I understand love for those. I’m addicted to avocado unfortunately. But I would never promo those in “Slow Sustainable Living” kind of video. Plant based, sure. I’m happy you don’t eat animals but you are not better than me djkfhfdgdf

Hey, hey you, yes, you.
Next time you will be shoping get yourself a brew basket. Tea bags are full of plastic, they are not worth your money.

Didn’t write for this blog for a while, but small update
I’m getting use to buying second hand clothing
It’s normal for me now to read labels of clothing contents even in sacond hand shops
I’m getting only underwear from fast fashion (because it has to be new and I’m poor lol)
I got use to not using a tea bags (at least at home it’s still hard in work but we are getting there)
I don’t use plasitic bags for my veggies as much (sometimes it still happens)
those are small steps but last year i wasn’t there and that was Big Deal for me to start doing all of that.
