the absolute defining moment of zolu to me is when in water 7 luffy sees the train approaching the other train on the tracks and says to zoro "zoro! cut them up! they're in our way! :D" and zoro goes "sure -_-" and says some buddhist nonsense and then slices the train in half. and everybody else is like ??????? the fuck ?????? he just did that? they just handled this life-or-death situation like deciding how to halve a sandwich? zoro does whatever luffy asks of him calmly, and luffy thinks zoro could cut a literal mountain in half if he needed to? and they're both right?

You know what I hate about being a zoro stan. I LOVE EMOTIONAL ANGST ,but it's near impossible to make angst about his character. Idk maybe I'm not thinking hard enough .like he's just so level headed and has an insane amount of emotional intelligence. Problems that would have any other character spiralling into a deep depression he would probably just brush it off with a 'its not something I can control so it's better if i use my man power for things I can control'
