I love when people portray Kakashi as cool and reserved and logical because he isn’t??? in Wave county arc he dropped from chakra exhaustion didn’t even rest in bed for a day before showing how to tree climb to his newly traumatized students.

Kakashi not being “strong” without the sharingan is such a terrible take. It’s thematically correct choice to have Kakashi give up his “gift” to show his acceptance of his grief and move past it.

Not only thematically correct but he’s proven time and time again that it hinders his skill and improvement. in Kakashi Retsuden he takes on fifty missing ninja with a frying pan at once, no sharingan.
