sometimes i don’t hang out with my friends because i have to study. i hate it, i hate that they’re having fun and i could be having fun with them. my fomo goes crazy and i feel like at one point they’ll just stop asking me to go.

but trust me when i tell you that that’s the most motivating shit EVER. like, i choose studying over having fun? well then this has to be the most productive fucking study session of my life. it HAS to be worth it. i HAVE to get shit done. i sacrificed my social life over nothing? NO. i have to look back at this day and feel GLAD that i stayed in.

“i wish i had an extra couple days to study :(” sounds familiar right? well THESE are your extra couple days. stop wasting your time. stop wishing for more time.

oh you studied all night and slept for three hours? that’s cute. i got 8 hours of sleep and allowed my brain to recover and process all the information so i can actually retain them :)

also i don’t even have to act because my anxiety always tells me that i didn’t do enough and that i don’t know shit but whatever

the only motivation you should need is knowing that failing sucks way more than studying does. do you REALLY wanna retake that class? didn’t think so. so go study. go do your homework.

They can laze around cuz they’re already smart. And you can keep doing what you do best too, being a failure.
