Chaos is art...

The coffee table was clean. But then life happened. Baby toys scattered from short awake periods and shorter attention span, a box of embroidery floss with my scissors on top, my current project on standby...

I am at an impasse for now as my son rests on my chest from a long day of fun and rest (at least, I hope he feels that way!). I don't want this sweet moment to end, but damn I need to finish that painting for craft show season. I am way behind and need to crank out some more pieces before I miss out!

It might be time for a rebrand, as I have not been drawing as much as I used to...

Walmart is clearancing their holiday fabrics! At least I can stockpile for next season's crafts🧡

Image for attention, it's an old piece!

I'm prepping for the craft show season on top of gearing into a HUGE personal development, so I'm genuinely excited for what next month is gonna bring for me.

My embroidered paintings I've been working on are taking so long to finish between the details and my work schedule, so I'm benching that project for a couple of weeks. I'm also going to post project updates here for my husband's birthday gift since I know he doesn't have an account here and can't snoop...

So much to be excited for! Sorry that this one's a lengthy post!

Oh, and for those that may be curious about the image, it is supposed to be Alice from Alice In Wonderland. It was a personal piece that took me about a week to finish some point last year, and I absolutely love how it turned out.

God damn this took forever

I loved doing it, and I'm learning... but I hurt myself like 10 times on the sewing n33dl3.

This piece was also sold at a craft show in December. I'm just reminiscing on the project.
