Sims 4 High School Challenge
This is another challenge I invented, I was inspired by this video by Fake Gamer Girl on YouTube, it's got elements of the prison challenge as well.
Start by creating 7 students and 1 Lunchlady, you can choose to create more if you have MCCC. Adding teachers is optional, but you can if you want. You may also have a janitor to repair and clean if you want.
Next, build a high school. You can spend whatever you want to on this (keep bills in mind because you only get paid once every two sim weeks) but it must include the following:
Cafeteria
Must include:
- Separate but attached kitchen, for the Lunchlady to reside in, with a stove and refridgerator.
- A spot for every student to sit and eat.
Library
Art Room
- Make sure there is an eisel for each student.
Gym
- One skill item to increase fitness per student.
Computer Lab
- A computer for each student.
Music Room
- With at least 1 musical instrument per student.
Home Ec Room
- At least one other skill building item per student.
2 Bathrooms
Sleeping quarters for the Lunchlady, Janitor and Teachers
- A bed for each.
- A bathroom that they can all access.
Dorm Rooms
- A bed for each student.
- At least 2 bathrooms.
Drama Room (Get to Work)
Your goal is to have at least 10 students graduate from your high school, they do this by completing their teen aspiration and obtaining an A Grade in the scoring system below.
F Grade: All school skills are below a level 2.
D Grade: All school skills are at least level 2, and three of them are at least level 3.
C Grade: All school skills are at least level 3, at least three of these skills are level 5.
B Grade: All school skills are at least level 5, at least three of these are level 7.
A Grade: All school skills are at least level 6, at least three of them are level 10.
To stay up and running you are funded by the government, they pay you a basic fee of 100 simoleons per student every two sim weeks, but the amount increases with your students success (I.e. 200 for a D student, 300 for a C, etc.). As well as a one time payment of 1000 simoleons every time a student graduates.
If you want to add a bigger challenge you could subtract funds for the employees every week as well, I suggest 50 simoleons per week for Lunchlady and Janitor and 100 for Teachers.
You may have whatever schedule you want but the following needs to happen every day:
The Lunchlady prepares 3 meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
All students must attend every class at least once a day
Students must have a "Free Period" where they are to roam freely throughout the school.
You could play this the same as the prison challenge and only control one sim per day or you can set your own restrictions.
You could work on only one student's aspiration per day but also play all the students a very minimal amount. Ex: Having all students go to the computer lab for class and telling them all to practice writing but not correcting them if they decide instead to start playing a computer game. - I'd set autonomy to high for this one.
Alternatively you could use the group system to your advantage and create a group for each class, setting the activities you want them to do. Ex: Art Class, set to painting; Computer Lab, set to writing, etc. and allow them to build those skills on their own.
When a student graduates you must move them out of the house. You can throw a graduation party and even hold a ceremony if you want. Then use cas.fulleditmode to add a new student into the family. All students start at an F Grade.
Students are not allowed to sell anything that they make in class (I.e. books, paintings, sculptures, etc.) unless they have the related aspiration.
Students are allowed to have jobs, but they cannot conflict with school hours and the money they earn must go to improving the school.
The dorms are off limits to students during school hours.
Mods are fine for this challenge. However, if you have a mod that enables teen pregnancy and one of your students get pregnant they must be kicked out.
Your students are allowed to leave campus but only after school hours and they must return to campus before 10 30 p.m. or be locked out of the dorms.
If your students have relationships outside of the sims on your lot they are allowed to visit but only during non school hours and they must leave before curfew at 10 30 p.m.
