Title: Dust and the Wind

Character: Lina, Gourry, mentions of Luke and Mileena

Warning: Major spoilers for novels 14 and 15. Do not read if you do not want to be spoiled.

This is largely genfic. It's a gift to the absolutely lovely @chibiaichan, who wanted basically anything Gourry or Gourrina. And since Gourry is my favorite subject when it comes to Slayers, writing from his POV comes easy.

Summary: It was a girl, maybe around Lina’s age when Gourry first met her. She wore a dress and had her hair pulled back in a familiar style. Her face was equally familiar to the point where his brain didn’t have to struggle much to put it with a memory.

Prompt: Lina got hit with a Lust spell and Gourry, the himbo, is trying to fight her off of him. He is losing that battle.

My Secret Santa this year was the lovely Psy on our Discord (I don't think she has a Tumblr.) I actually finished this last week and was planning to get a part 2 done, but with work I don't think it's going to happen by the end of the month, so y'all will just have to wait on the goofy follow-up!

Had a lot of fun with this one though, not the least of which was inspired by Lina's new costume and those booty shorts. Booty shorts!

I'd rather have a thousand "OHMIGOD WE WERE RIGHT!!!" theory confirmed moments where due to good storytelling and foreshadowing the audience was able to figure out parts of the future plot than just one more stupid twist that makes no narrative sense to avoid being "predictable".

If people knowing anything about your plot spoils the show entirely maybe it's just no good lmao.

It's not worth ruining your narrative themes and character integrity just so everyone is shocked. Sometimes twists that have been guessed .... Are better.
