How does Bakura help in the maze again? Atem already figured out the Paradox Brothers trick

bakura was the distraction to the trick. that was his role.

one of the brothers was seeking confirmation regarding which coin atem picked, which is the coin still hidden in atem's hand. as you can see, panel-wise, atem isnt quick to answer because the coin trick hinges on the brothers showing them the "correct" door first.

BROTHER: You've revealed the rinth coin... which means the laby coin remains in your hand... So you've chosen the laby door!

BAKURA: The rinth door... The correct door is rinth!

bakura misdirects the brothers. he keeps the brothers from forcing atem to prematurely reveal the remaining coin in his hand by having their focus stay on the coin already revealed.

BROTHER: It's too late... Yugi chose the laby door... You should've listened to your friend, Yugi...

BROTHER: The correct door is rinth!!

tbh the cleverness of the coin trick is presented so grandiosely (as intended) that it outshines and dilutes bakura as the dark horse of the scene (and the clandestine bakura/atem teamwork at play here!!). but atem does mention that its thanks to bakura distracting the brothers that the trick worked. so theres that blatant reveal in case what bakura did went over people's heads (which means he did his job well lmao).

because its definitely a missable detail! with the way bakura was cajoling ryou, telling him he'll show them the correct door, youd think he was going to steal the show. but in the end, bakura is a behind-the-scenes kinda guy. always has been. I mean, hes sneaky for the entire series until memory world happens yknow.
