Carole King wrote this delightful song in 1971 … just as I was leaving for Hawaii. I sang this song… You’ve Got A Friend… with my wonderful friends from Kauai’s Valley House and Taylor’s Camp. We used to sit around and play our guitars and sing to the stars, in twenty part harmony. I feel like this song is how we think of each other even now, and I’ve been very lucky to have found other wonderful friends through the years. This is for all of YOU.
