The subject "Empowerment technology had greatly influenced me on how I see and use ICT. This subject gave me a lot of information and ideas. For instance, when I was a kid my goal was to be an IT professional. My first thought was, I am already a pro when it comes to using a computer and other technologies since I grew up using it. And I learned how to use a computer when I was in grade 2 because my uncle had a computer shop. I’m really really proud that at a young age I was able to access ICT. But when I thought the knowledge I have now is enough. I was wrong. When I became a senior high student, I realized that I still need to expand my knowledge. I knew that I needed this subject to increase my knowledge about ICT because there are still things that I still need to learn.
In my case, I used many tools to achieve higher goals. For example, when my colleagues don't know what to do, they tell me to edit videos and logos. I usually watch YouTube tutorials on how to improve my editing so that my groupmates will be satisfied with my work. There are many resources available online. You can check out YouTube tutorials on video editing to learn new techniques and tips. You can also practice editing videos on your own to gain more experience and improve your skills.
After going through the lessons and visiting online sites, I was motivated to continue what I was doing. By scrolling through their website, you can tell that they put a lot of effort into making it. Not only the structure of the site, but I also agree that there is a site to help people who are just wondering.
In my reflection, we should use ICT appropriately. I recommend that we students should avoid posting arguments publicly on the internet and instead talk to the other party privately. This is because if you post something, the other party may also post something about you. So it’s a must that we apply the famous quote “THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK” to avoid any misunderstandings and build a healthier online relationships. and I also we should use ICT responsible, because ICT is dangerous if we’re lacking of knowledge, if you feel that the website have a virus, don’t open it, if someone send you a link, and you know that the account was hacked, don’t hesitate to block the account. Also don’t give or post your personal information because you don’t know if someone use your information to scam people.
That’s all and ALWAYS REMEMBER DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU READ ON INTERNET Because it has a possibly that the post you read or watched is FAKE.
