[tw] drugs (use, abuse, addiction), child abuse, overdose, sex work, miscarriage  / greg wexler takes to drink and often with a side of red hot rage while maria wexler loves the chase- of a new high / the wexler parents never did find their responsible side, more or less looking out for themselves, so the siblings looked out for each other / she only just managing to graduate high school, brooke didn't even contemplate the idea of college, once she hit eighteen, she hit up a nearby stripper joint and went from there / she also took on a job at a clothes store, it meant she was balancing two jobs, a social life, and helping out with her siblings / the years went by, her stripping stint ended up with her doing more than just dance and take off her clothes, soon she was earning money for sex / she never wanted to be like her parents, but she was twenty-one and discovering that she was a little more like her mother than she wanted to admit- pills, then cocaine, then heroin / at twenty-five, she found out she was pregnant and she didn't know who the father was / she ended up overdosing after a hit, luckily one of her siblings found her early enough- she lost the baby / she checked herself into rehab and the years that followed witnessed her rise and fall, only to rise again / currently clean for the last three years / has found herself wrapped up in strings over her no-strings with benefits, to top it off, she's found out she's pregnant with his child

looking for: siblings, it's a shameless-esque vibe sort of family- started from the bottom... still there, fucked up parentals, close af siblings, most of whom still all live together in the family home that has thin af walls, leaky pipes, and stains and cracks that most likely has an interesting story behind it all. wexler as the surname because brooke has a different father. a best friend pls? don't have anything set in stone, can be someone equally as rough around the edges as she is and they just get into a whole ton of trouble together. maybe they butt heads a lot but always come back together because they're practically family. or maybe they're opposites and brooke gets them to ~live a little more, while they make sure to keep brooke grounded.
