I just love Soulless so much.

(Warning: spoilers!)

I love the wit. It’s so clever and funny. Vyxaria’s take on our worldly things. The cute word play, blending animals with company names: Catflix, Llamazon, Goosegle.

I love all the characters. Every single one. The found family trope was my favorite thing about Heart of Trespia. I didn’t see this trope happening in Soulless. When I first started this book, I thought Threxio/a and Vincent were going to be enemies in the end. I never would’ve thought Ava and Elliot would be on the same team. But I’m loving how these really different characters are coming together. There’s still awkwardness and tension, but it’s handled in a funny, yet endearing way.

Also, they are all gorgeous. All of them.

While we’re at it, I knew it. All signs pointed to this:

I knew Walter/Cynthia was half-celestial. There were too many celestial mentionings. And Walter/Cynthia is too pure and loving. Almost in an exaggerated way, just as Vyxaria is comically brash and crude. They are each other’s foils.

And Walter finally confirms that his mom did in fact eat his dad. 😂 (She ate an angel!?😱)

I would like the Romance Club to have an AUTO CLICK button, with speed options.

I mean, this option would be open for the stories themselves that have already been finished, I myself during the updates or my gameplay, I use an AUTO CLIK app. There are some visual novels that already have this option in their settings, now it's RC's turn.

Why was there a horror sound effect when it showed Hannah's sprite in episode 7 of ATHWTU? She wasn't doing anything except existing, is her mere presence supposed to be a jumpscare?

I really do not like that. Disabled people are not a source of horror, thank you

I started reading Shadows of Saintfour while waiting for diamond rush and was enjoying it until series 3, but the circus really put me off. Why does the "good person" path mean MC has to act like the circus members disgust her? And the "whole transforming people by giving them disabilities, which is supposed to demonstrate their inner evil" plotline is sickening.

Alice had been doing a bit better with Hannah before now, but I suppose I'll have to wait and see how her part of the story plays out

I made joking headcanon that in the early stories where MC's parents appear but only have one sprite (always white 🙄) it means MC is adopted

But I think it does make sense in Heavens Secret for Vicky's dad to actually be her step dad. If Rebecca was a single mum and knew she had a terminal illness, then finding a nice, dependable man who will devote himself to raising her daughter and getting him to fall head over heels for her and adopt Vicky is exactly the sort of competent, logical, coldblooded-but-for-the-greater-good thing she would do.

I feel like the rest do have a point. It's nice to see a reminder of Ellia's existence since there aren't many in his story, but Lada? Even Mikael come to that, since the Heavens Secret universe basically says "we're not affiliated with any of the religions, they're all wrong". Renato would have made a lot more sense.

Plus the sexualisation is a bit disrespectful and unnecessary

Let's be honest here: RC doesn't give much of a damn if cosmetics fit the storyline/story, and there is absolutely no continuation about hair styles/colors (besides the absolute lack of very short hair variety.)

Yeah, it may be an "ignorable" offense, but it is jarring, anyway.

Like Audrey having all sort of skimpy, ill fitting clothings to be around her co-workers and boss

Like Lane using skimpy clothing in snow-covered cities

Like how would Layne keep dying her hair red in the middle of the apocalypse all the time, while there is no hair whose color would be a mix in between red and her natural
