zukka youtuber au...

Sokka’s youtube is for three things only

showing off his weapons collection (he gains notoriety for his “introduction to boomerangs” video that is no less than 48 minutes)

desk and stationery organization. he DIYs his own desktop/laptop stand/stationery storage and has every stupid pattern of washi tape he can get his hands on, and every single item has its own place. He updates this series every month. 

his elaborate monthly and weekly bullet journal set-ups in “journal with me” style videos. he puts on chill music and chats while drawing flowers on his monthly cover page and meticulously measuring out his monthly overview, drawing a habit tracking chart and filling in important dates. he encourages his followers to @ him with their own spreads and replies to all of them

it’s important to note that they’re not pretty journal spreads, but they’re highly efficient and detailed

he also reviews various stationery, from brushpens to glue

Zuko’s account on the other hand has three entirely distinct modes

sophisticated political rants and video essays (with primary source evidence and self cross examination sections)

a tea review series with Uncle Iroh, reviewing both teas themselves and teawares. zuko originally intended to make iroh his own channel, but iroh kept insisting he didn’t “get it”, and they both secretly enjoyed making the videos together. 

iroh convinces zuko to do “blind taste tests” where zuko is blinfolded and iroh puts the cup in his hand, and zuko gives tasting notes. zuko refused to do it again after iroh snuck him an experimental boba tea recipe for the third time

musical and cinema reviews that somehow get him even more heated than his political videos. while zuko takes time to argue against and deconstruct opposing political views, if someone disagrees with his review of “love amongst the dragons” put on by the royal theater troupe, it’s on sight. (these videos get memed on the most, but viewers have to admit they respect his opinions)

however they don’t realize they both follow the other’s channels 

sokka loves listening to this guy’s rants– either on politics or movies, since sokka is interested in both. it doesn’t hurt that zuko is cute. he watches the new videos as they are posted. 

zuko on the other hand watches all of sokka’s weapons videos, correcting issues he takes with them (commenting from his alternate account that iroh doesn’t have the password for). he saves up sokka’s journaling videos for when he’s stressed out because the music and sokka’s chatter are nice, calming white noise

Cherik Week 2020

Day 2: Dark!Charles

Rating: Explicit (I was gonna find a way to sneak power bottom!charles in somewhere)

Additional tags: Erik being dramatic, Dark Charles Xavier, Reincarnation, Angst and Feels, Smut is had, light bloodplay, Erik and Charles are soulmates in a way, Pain is had, Assassins & Hitmen, this is a world where people kill a lot

Summary:

Charles and Erik have lived hundreds of different lives. They have been matched, meant to kill one another on opposing sides in an old war. Neither side seems to remember what they are fighting for anymore.

They both attempt to find self-agency as they hunt each other down. Charles ends up finding that he is being slowly swallowed up by an infuriating darkness.

Note: Was personally inspired by Christopher Sebela’s Welcome Back. If you like comics, it’s a good read. Also this fanmade Cherik video by Bach Gia: Toxic. Absolutely stunning.

Dark Charles: Day 2 of CherikWeek2020!

this one is less of a dark Charles AU more of a reverse AU i guess...But anyways, hope you enjoy this little idea/scribble i wrote!

This is not the first time Erik heard that somebody from the inside ratted Charles Xavier out. But this time was different, they claim that they have the helmet, he is morally obliged to check it out.

It is raining in New York, grey clouds dimmed down the mood of the street. Erik made a right turn as the streetlamps are being lit. He can’t stop but think about how the rivalry of him and Charles had come to be. They used to be partners, fighting side by side for mutant’s rights, where the hell did that all went down the drain?

Then the answer came to him, it was the opposite of today, sunshine and beaches, palm trees and afternoon snuggles. He and Charles on a hammock, enjoying one of the days where they didn’t need to fight--Christmas.

They signed a contract with a country in the southern hemisphere, hence the sunbath in Christmas, at that time and everything went surprising well, or so as Erik thought, the government agreed to devote an entire department named Mutant’s Affair to help improve the condition in with the mutants were in at that time, which included a lot of fear and discrimination.

“So, what did you say to that official when you wanted a private conversation with him?” Erik squished Charles’ shoulder and pulled him closer.

Charles leaned comfortably on Erik’s chest: “Nothing.”

And just when Erik was going to take another sip of his coconut cocktail, Charles continued: “Just that if they don’t sign that contract, we will show them what we are really made of.” Then took the cocktail from Erik as he was frozen by what Charles just said.

“What, what’s the matter?” Charles pressed his hand on Erik’s stomach to get up, and looked straight into his eyes, “You think I was being too harsh? In my opinion…”

“No,” Erik nudged him over to the opposite side of the hammock, “I thought we were doing my plan, the negotiating plan!”

“Oh Erik,” Charles raised his right eyebrow and a smirk appeared on his face, “With your plan, we would’ve never been taken seriously.” He took another sip off that cocktail, and threw the tiny umbrella into the sand.

“So you thought that violence was our best option?! Now what will people think when they see us? As a bunch of terrorists who would do anything to get what they want!!”

“Don’t you talk to me like that Lehnsherr, why do you suddenly care about how those humans think about us? Tell me, when they torched your house and killed your mother, were you worrying about what they are thinking about you? The only option we have is violence, we have to give them a taste of their own medicine Erik, they deserve it.”

Erik couldn’t believe what just came out of Charles’ mouth, how those evil words just popped out of the softest and fullest lips, and how those overwhelmingly negative emotions just floated out from the most gorgeous ocean-blue eyes.

“I can’t believe what you just said Xavier……We are DONE.”

He can’t recall what happened next, and he doesn’t have the time to anyways, the meeting spot is right around the corner.

“Erik.” Raven walks out of the dark corner, with steams of undried tears left on her cheeks.

The girl practically runs to him and Erik is forced into a very tight hug.

“What’s wrong, Raven?” He strokes her hair awkwardly, it’s not surprising to see Raven as the person who betrayed Xavier, Charles disliked Raven from the moment that his parents left all their possession to her, the adopted daughter, not him.

“I am so sorry about what has to be done.” She stares at him with a hint of desperation in her eyes, “I had failed Charles so many times, I need to make it up to him……or he will do things to me.”

Erik suddenly realise why Raven would not meet him in a more public place, and didn’t let him bring any backup: “What has to be done Raven?” He pushes her away and starts walking backwards.

She falls on her knees, and points to the entrance of the alley.

Day 2: Dark Charles

It began as a simple attraction, but it quickly grew to something so much more. Everything about the man awoke in him a desire that could not wait for nature to take its leisurely time until he would hear another rejection like he received from his previous loves. They were with him in the end, but he had to… play to be able to have them, and with Erik he did not want to wait.

The other mutant was so strong, determined, intelligent. Charles just had to have him, to hear that voice say his name over and over, to feel those hands on his body.

The night Erik was about to leave, Charles stopped him. It started small, a seed of an idea planted in Erik’s mind.
