kora is very much of a choleric temperament . easy to anger , resistant to forgiveness , demanding . their anger is an all - consuming fire that will burn anyone who gets too close . it's been burning inside of them for so long , maybe this fire is kin to the flames balisarius used to scorch their planet when they were young . they can't remember a time before their heart was charred , every breath tasting like ash . kora is so full of rage & grief ; the uncontrollable wildfire & the inescapable tsunami .

immediately does 🇫​🇪​🇦​🇷​ spike in their veins . ₜₕᵤₘₚ , thump , thump , goes the pounding of kora's heart ( ... ) they can 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚛 it in their ears , 𝑓𝑒𝑒𝑙 it in their throat . ᵠᵘᶤᶜᵏˡʸ is the knife in her belt torn free , hand whipping around for the tip of her blade to press dangerously into the fabric over their assailant's torso — blade freezing before drawing 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 as gunnar's whispered words stop it in its tracks . relief is a 𝑤𝑎𝑣𝑒 , ʷᵃˢʰᶤᶰᵍ over them as knife is raised in front of them ; a ᵈᶤˢᵖˡᵃʸ of their understanding as they 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑛 into gunnar's body .

hc of the day ; kora has terrible nightmares . most of them follow a central theme of loss & feeling out of control . being on top of a collapsing building , reliving the day balisarius killed their family , watching as the universe collapses as a result of their actions . they'll shake & sweat & scream themselves awake . kora is tired more days than not as a result of not sleeping or sleeping roughly . when they're sharing their bed , the other person will likely have to wake them up from a nightmare at some point or another .
